Anyone else get the feeling that Lennon didn't get on with the person running the club's Twitter account?

Still, good to see at least one former player was paying attention

Four photos taken in about 15 seconds to reflect on his decade at Spurs? Harsh.
    Still a great moment, though:

    Reaction's still funny, too:

I'm sure Levy's packaging up a ton of Son 7 (Seventh Son?) shirts for Seoul as we speak.
Certainly can't hurt, even if the opposition were clearly ****e.

Son and N'Jie as a front pairing in the Europa? Could work, possibly with a diamond midfield.
Lots of pace, which is clearly something we've lacked.

Noticed that the name "Soldado" came up on the goal flash ticker-tape thingy along the bottom of the screen during that clip...

I've just seen the team sheets for South Korea v Laos. I'd love to see Paul Merson and David Pleat commentating on that game.

South Korea: Kwoun Sun-tae; Hong Chul (Kim Jin-Su 69), Hong Jeong Ho, Kim Young Gwon, Jang Hyun-Soo; Jung Woo-Young, Kwon Chang-Hoon, Ki Sung Yueng (c), Lee Chung Yong (Lee Jae-Sung 77); Son Heung-Min, Suk Hyun-Jun (Hwang Ui Jo 62)

Laos: Phoutpasong Sengdalavong (c); Saynakhonevieng Phommapanya, Khampoumy Hanevilay; Khamla Pinkeo, Thotnilath Sibounhuang, Moukda Souksavath (Manolom Phomsouvanh 79); Souksakhone Bountathip, Phoutthasay Khochalern, Paseuthsack Souliyavong (Chanthaphone Waenvongsoth 83); Sitthideth Khanthavong (Souk Aphone Vongchiengkham 60), Khampheng Sayavutthi

I already thought that was quite funny as I was reading the South Korean names and imagining Pleat. Then I got to the Loas team and did a hearty lol. I could imagine Pleat being given that team sheet a couple of hours before kick off and actually being quite close to tears and/or resigning.

You know, I've seen plenty of Thai and Indonesian films, but when I see that teamsheet...hang on, I'm off to watch The Raid with an Ong-Bak chaser.

I literally just found myself imagining random Spurs players' names and mispronouncing them in random ways with a Pleat voice and they all sounded pretty believable. Fry-del, Ekoe Toe, Bear-ba-toff...Just whatever you think up sounds feasible as long as it has Pleat's voice.

Wasn't it Pleat who gave the world Cheery Cheese?

    Chim-bomb-ba was my fave.

While we're talking of Pleat, surely his greatest moment was saying "The sight is within end" (yep, incorrect) just as Barca went up the other end and scored in the CL final vs Arsenal. He will forever be a legend for that.

Laos might do better if they didn’t have to carry around all those letters on their backs.

    I believe it was Kerry-cheese.

I used to like mal-brank. all anybody had to do was to make the "brank" sound like "bronk", and you sounded slightly French, no matter how poor your attempt at an accent was. Nope, not David pleat. He ain't got time for 'dat. <laugh>
