Remember the talk of Nigerian wonderkid Musa Yahaya supposedly signed a pre-contract agreement with us? Errm...yeah, I guess he didn't, given he's still not been seen at Spurs Lodge.

Not seen much of Davies but Swansea fans are saying he's a crap defender. Still being a fullback and crap at defending means he will fit in nicely, if we sign him.

Welsh left backs never amount to anything.

Given the number of midfielders you already have do any of you think that Cambiasso rumours are to be believed? Good player but not a good age to be starting in a new league. Looks like it could be one of those 2+2=5 stories to me but maybe another Argentinian is meant to help Lamela

Man Utd have used social media to make signing players looks remarkably pretentious...

Will be a freebie anyway Tots so I suppose it just depends if Levy thinks he's worth the wage he'll command.

I doubt it's true anyway, unless rumours of Sandro leaving are nearer the mark than we hope. Talk going around that the reason we may be willing to sell is that he's not agreeing to a new deal and therefore want to make something on him instead of letting his deal (not sure if he has 12 or 24 months left) run out and lose him for nothing.

I could see it being a possibility if Capoue's allowed to leave.

Apparently we're looking to offload Lennon this summer, whilst we can still get decent money for him. I like lennon, but that's a good move IMO. He's not progressed in the last few years and lacks that "something".

Lennon is too injury prone to offload for a decent fee so unless we are selling him on the cheap for 3-5 million then can't see that, plus Lennon gets written off virtually each time a new manager arrives but ends up being one of the managers most important players as he works hard for the team, is still only 27 and is a great team player, we be daft to sell him, unless he wanted a change.

If anything, Townsend is a better player to move on - as he's young and an England international his fee will be higher, yet he offers less to the team as a whole than Lennon does.

According to ITKs, we are going all out for Lukaku.

Hopefully given the fact he's having a dire world cup will drive his price down.

Would think Everton would want Lukaku on a permanent (if they can afford him) .

I like Ben Davies, mentioned him previously in the past as someone I would happily see join us. £8m is a little high but I suppose taking into fact he's young with lots to learn and to hopefully improve on, it could represent good value for money in the long run. The last Welsh left back we signed didn't turn out too badly!

Not sure I'd offload Lennon, despite his poor form last season he still works incredibly hard for the team and he's someone good to have in the squad, whether that be a starter or to come off the bench.

With Lennon you wonder if the recovery time from his usual speedboat injuries is now
going to get worse with age. When he is fit and gets a decent run in the side he is good,
but are those times now past him.
