A french journalist is saying that Etienne Capoue will be arriving for a Medical on Thurs or Friday in a 5 year deal worth 10m euros, with a further 2m euro's in bonuses.

According to Wiki, he can play defender, so hopefully Caulker's or Rose's replacement too. With obviously CB being the immediate priority.

He was linked quite heavily with l'Arse a few months ago, since then he has dropped off to become a target for Cardiff, though they are ambitious.
Google tells me Cardiff where set to beat us to sign him and Redknapp tried to sign him in January to save QPR, so am thinking either cardiff and qpr tried to punch above their weight or he was always too good for them and deserves a club like us to show his talents.
(basically I haven't a scooby and I doubt anyone else does!)
