Nani would be a top signing for your lot. Doesn't get the chances at United now as they are very strong on the wings. He doesn't have a great attitude but has lots of quality when he is on form.
Pretty much my thoughts. He also appears to spend too much time pouting and looking miserable. He may not have had the best time at United, but I wouldn't want him upsetting what always seems to be a very 'together' squad. Not sure it's worth the risk, even if he was available for less than £10m.
Good points actually PNP and lenny, I'd forgot he can be a lazy git. ...needs a decent FB behind him!...thats us bolloxed!
From what I saw at E3 PS4 is going to wipe the floor with Xbox 1 - That is backed up by the fact I went into GAME yesterday and got asked if I was interested in preordering the ps4 even though I was buying Xbox360 games... I said I would defienetly be pre-ordering a ps4 over xbox 1 and when I asked if anyone had said they'd rather the Xbox 1 he laughed in my face and said "what do you think?" Xbox 1 £499 £5 per month to play online multiplayer Must be connected to internet to play DISC based games Your xbox will connect itself to the internet once every 24 hours where it checks your games to mark them as yours / checks what you are playing / records your history You have to pay a licensing fee to play a game somebody else has played You cannot turn off the Kinect movement feature Ps4 £349 Free Multiplayer Online No internet connection required No 24 hour check in No charges for any games - You can sell them, trade them in, lend them to friends etc __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ And back to footballing - Nani would be an amazing signing - He may be a lazy so and so at times but even so he's a step above the players we have at the minute bar Bale and Lloris.
Also... PS4 is reverse compatible (albeit via emulation), the XBone isn't You need an Gold membership to XBox Live to use Netflix, but it's free on the PS4 PS4 is working with indie developers for PSN, XBone is cutting off indie developers for XBox Live
I agree with this - People say "He's only scored goals in Scotland" It's the way he's scored them. Right place, right time, always. He has that knack when it comes to goalscoring that its very hard to find - Like Teddy Sheringham. Also agree with this - Di Santo HAS to be worth a punt for free as a 3rd/4th choice striker.
Nani's a tough one. 10 million is very, very tempting for a player of his quality, who fits our needs so perfectly. I have trouble weighing it against his reputation for being locker room poison. Spurs are a remarkably decent bunch of guys at this point. Throwing in a rotten apple might be particularly stupid. But, as WY says, maybe his compatriot AVB can cure what ails him. I also agree it's probably wishful thinking. I can't see it happening.
He's also put them away with relative ease in Europe, which isn't easy considering he's backed up by an SPL team. And Di Santo is only 24, he's going to have resale value after he leaves too. He had bags of potential when he was signed for Chelsea, so its got to be in there somewhere...
Hooper scored goals freely with S****horpe; it may have been at Championship and League 1 level, but you could see he is a natural goalscorer. And the success of players like Holt & Lambert shows that if you know where the goal is, you can be a goalscoring threat at a higher level. For less than £10M, he's a gamble ahead of an untried Brazalian for at least twice that amount IMO. EDIT: Scunthorpe
Not all of your PS4 stuff is true I'm afraid. Sony announced that you have to pay to use multiplayer now (a la Xbox Live) - source: http://www.computerandvideogames.com/412527/ps4-multiplayer-requires-ps-plus-subscription/ In addition, the "£5 a month" line on your XBOne section is just that Xbox Live continues as it is at the mo - which means you'll still be able to pick up a year for £35 if you shop around. You also don't have to be online to play disc based games - you just have to connect once a day so that it can check - then you can play offline for 24hrs. And XBOne is £429 - not £499 (it's $499 in the US) Xbox One is confusing at best - this at least tries to make some sense of it http://www.computerandvideogames.com/411703/blog/xbox-one-a-plain-english-guide-to-game-ownership/ But anyway, enough of gaming - there's a dedicated forum for that on here ----------------------------------------- The AVB to PSG rumours continue abound - SKY Italia also reported yesterday that we've had a bid rejected for Fredy Guarin (something like £15.3m)
The £ and the $ are right next to each other I 'spose - but I've seen the screenshot of their presentation where they flashed the prices up and it definitely says £429. It's still £80 more than PS4, which is...off-putting to say the least.
He's significantly better than our current third choice striker 3RD STRIKER. Until NEW STRIKER 1 and NEW STRIKER 2 arrive, we should be looking for any cover we can get, and a free transfer for Di Santo wouldn't be too bad.
