It turned out later that AVB hadn't been made aware of the circumstances, and when he did find out,he was extremely apologetic to Dawson. It was a certain German assistant manger who did the damage.......
Do people really edit their posts to "-" if they notice it was the last one on the page and repost so they are top of the next? Not a direct dig at you Rob just seen a few people do it, and wondered if its the people worrying about not being top of the page or if it's something the website does on its own for whatever reason? Seems kinda needless to edit posts to make sure you are top, otherwise we'd all do it and there'd only be one comment per page!
I think I must be missing something. What did Dawson do after he scored then? All I can remember was him stacking/ falling after the goal with the players then jumping on top, did something happen afterwards? I'm confused I'm gonna have a butchers on the net and try and find a video of it.
Daws is our captain and there's no good reason why he shouldn't remain so. I'm glad OS has explained the reason behind Daws celebration, but even if that didn't exist, AVB was indeed very foolish indeed to drop Daws the way he did and Daws would have been well within his rights to indicate what a mistake it was by some 'over-celebrating'. Daws is Mr Tottenham, not AVB or Sandro. I respect the latter two, but they don't even come close to the loyalty and service our captain has given this club.
Sandro's been out similarly, others have had long term injury but not been given the armband. Its one of the oddest things I've seen. What next, armband for a game when you reach certain targets!...might aswell toss the thing away. I'm sure he could have had his rehab efforts rewarded in some other way, if such a thing is deserving of reward now.
Apparently all 3 players are available for Sunday. And apparently Tom Carroll could be going on loan to Ajax!!!
Yeah can't deny it's not odd but as I said, I doubt Daws would've been too fussed. Younes had been out for year and was making his first start, it probably proved to be a huge morale boost to Younes even though the game was of "small" importance.
Had a feeling they would be. I said earlier that Eriksen's photo looked as though it was around noon - mid afternoon time and depending on when the cut off date for registerations was (12:00 or 17:00) there was a chance he'd be elligible. Question is, will Andre want to throw them into the deep end, whether it be from the start or bench?
First of all, after our three signings: Also: Somebody ought to tell all managers that the captaincy is a hot potato. Touch it as little as possible to avoid getting burned.
Lol the one that Spurs released when announcing his signing. Was taken during the day so had a feeling deal was done earlier, they just chose to announce the deal late on. Maybe Spurcat could clarify if all/ some/ none are elligible?
Can we make this a dance-off thread? I got so much to share! please log in to view this image I got them moves like Mick Jagger man!
I like this game, and have decided to have a guess myself. On the basis that he looks quite cold, i'm going to go for 7.15pm.
