There's been a quote going around on Twitter from Garth Crooks that I thought was brilliant, not sure if anyone else has posted it but it says: "Tottenham have sold Elvis but bought The Beatles". Think it's a fantastic summary of our business. Bale(Elvis)'s impending move to Madrid has allowed for us to fund deals for a group of players (Beatles), many of whom would get into a lot of top European clubs. Individually I don't think any of our new boys are as good as Bale but as a collective group, Tottenham Hotspur is now a far stronger squad than what it was a few months back. Is this the most exciting time to be a Spurs fan in decades? Yes, yes it is.

Front page updated Expecting to add Eriksen on there too hopefully According to ITK, spending won't stop at Eriksen - still looking at another striker (if we can ship out Ade) and AVB still wants Coentrao (though Levy + Baldini think he's a bit too pricey). Bale is apparently going to be officially announced tomorrow as well. Busy busy...
