We were linked with Umtiti in January, IIRC. He didn't impress me in that game, despite scoring. Lucky to stay on the pitch.
Didn't: please log in to view this image Older one might've, though. ... whilst looking for a move elsewhere.
Just got in from work and the first thing I see is Carlton cole is training at spurs....................FFS
2012 lists him as left-footed right back. And there was no way he'd get ahead of Walker or Vrsaljko...
Lost in the Bale mediagasm, it seems, is the fact that we had three targets at the beginning of this transfer window: a first rate striker, a winger who can play on either side, and maybe a playmaker. We got the first two (if Soldado passes his medical!) plus a world class player who can play in the playmaker's slot. And all a month before the end of the transfer window. It must be the rapture. (Though maybe I should be giving Daniel Levy a little credit...)
Agreed. We need to replace Caulker now, but otherwise I'm happy with our window. Even if we lose Bale I think our squad is stronger now than it was last season. Bring on the season already!
There's a rumour that Taarabt is going to sign for Fulham tomorrow,in other new's Swansea are! 1-0 Up v Malmo in the europa league
Yeah, that goal struck me as the perfect, erm, non-great poet typing out Hamlet due to the law of averages. Take enough big swings at a bouncing ball, and one of them will be a screamer. Not good enough, just happened to score one great goal.
Dempsey??? Sold? That surprises me! No one's favourite player but he did a job! Chadli took his playing time maybe? And Carlton cole has to be some sort of sick, twisted joke?
His move to St Etienne fell through and he's training with us while he looks for a new club, according to his agent. Imagine if this story had come out yesterday, before we'd announced Soldado...
Bony showing everyone on ITV4 why I wanted us to go all out to sign him. And also why he was the first name on my fantasy football team-sheet
