"The agent of Fenerbahce forward Emmanuel Emenike has said Tottenham are interested in his client, reports the London Evening Standard.

The Nigeria international has a release clause of £15.7million and his representative Erdem Konyar is reported to have said Spurs have expressed an interest."

    Anybody seen him play?

First match he saw was us beating Chelsea 5 - 3. That should put him in the mood.

Not a lot. Strong, quick and scores a hell of a lot of goals, though I've not seen enough of him to judge his overall game.
He's been accused of fudging his age and match fixing in the past and his agent appears to be stirring the pot on this one.
    Wouldn't hold my breath.

Both more than deserving of a testimonial, a dual one would be great. Even though Daws didn't and Azza may not last a 10th season, both would've happily stayed with us until the end of their careers in my opinion, great servants and although they're not one club men like Ledley, they've shown terrific loyalty to this club and it should be duly rewarded.

The 4-4-2 might be our best option. We’ve done pretty well with it this year, if memory serves. Chadli is okay as a 10, but much better on the left. Lamela shows flashes of brilliance in and around the penalty box, but doesn’t bring the ball up the pitch very well. He tends to dribble into traffic when he should be passing it quickly to the open player.

I wouldn’t want to lose Townsend at this point, even though I’d like to get Berahino. Townsend is not a great player, but I think he’s gotten to be a good fit in the new system. Eriksen runs the show, Kane harries the defenders, those two plus Chadli score, and Townsend provides a good distraction with his dribbling and pace. Lamela has more potential, but doesn’t work as well in the system yet.

Finally, a twin testimonial for Dawson and Lennon would be great. I would really like to see it.

If that happens who would be the cover for Townend? Lennon we can let go but Towny I'm not so sure. If you boys are confident Berahino could do a job for us I could be persuaded but as for now I'm not sure. Can we afford to lose Townsend?

    Swansea bid £4m for Naughton.

Anyone else off to Spurs Lodge to yell "Take the money!" at Poch all afternoon?

Probably find Naughton there next to you!

Seriously, would be a good move for him. If Yedlin works out, then he has no future with us - even Vlad seems to be above him for right back. 3rd choice left back and 4th choice right back is not something he will enjoy.

When the Spurs Twitter announced it, I got my hopes up in thinking it was going to say he was re-joining on a loan or perm then read it's just purely on a training basis. :(

Given there's a rumour that Adebayor might be headed to MLS, perhaps Defoe is there to help Adebayor pack? If so, it's a great decision!

We've got a lot of players and I think that we could afford to lose Lennon without replacing him, but I'd agree about keeping Townsend.
Lamela would be competition for both wings, Eriksen and Dembele can both play out there and we've still got Ceballos sitting around somewhere.
Recalling Pritchard from Brentford might also be an option, but I'd prefer him to be playing regularly for the rest of the season.

I think I read somewhere that Ceballos wants out of Tottenham but we've still got enough depth for now

Off topic - I've updated the front page because I forgot Yedlin is a returning loanee...

4 million for Naughton seems reasonable, which makes me think Levy may be aiming for more. I rate him more highly than most. He is not a left back, and even at RB his performances are erratic. But on his good days I think he’s quite good, and erratic seems par for the course for young fullbacks. He had his best games for us this year, and just might develop into quite a good player.

However: I like Chriches more, so it’s best for all concerned if Naughton moves on.
