Updated the front page re. Lennon We're reluctant to loan Ade to West Ham due to proximity in the table. QPR are apparently trying again to get him. ITKs are claiming we might be trying to line up a replacement - typical, 1 month of transfer business left to the last 30 minutes.
I'm surprised we have problems recruiting seeing as all these players refuse to leave. It must be ****ing great at Spurs
Feel a bit the same way as when we only signed Dempsey and Dembele, disappointed. I was hoping for a big name. Never mind, roll on Saturday.
It's not quite the Saha/Nelson debacle but there are definitely weak links in the squad still. Can't shift all the deadwood in 1 window though - gotten BAE out at least.

Good to see we're looking to the future with Delle Ali. It does feel like we're throwing this season away a bit. I know we got Yedlin in but surely there must've been a striker, or centre back available that could've boosted our squad, it's only going to get tougher from here with so many fixtures in the next month or so(depending how long we're in the Europa League).
Personally I think it's wise not to mess too much with a large squad that is just beginning to come together with growing understanding between the players. We are just adjusting from the last post Bale transfer activity. Our squad is quite big enough for the job let's let them get on with it without throwing a new spanner into the works.
BBC quoting west ham owners as saying no further deals from them...cheeky ****ers expected us to pay half of adebayors wages...mind you when you get given a stadium courtesy of the tax payer you startto expect freebies all over the place
Another disappointing window for Spurs. Would have liked to have seen either Soldado/Adebayor leave and either Kaboul/Chiriches too.
Bringing no one in is a vote of confidence in the squad. We shall see whether it is justified, but it seems well timed. I think our players believe they can do the job, and do not want extra competition for Wembley places. Best of luck to Aaron and Beni. I’ve really enjoyed watching you play.
Even Man City and Chelsea strengthened and they are miles ahead of us. Loaning out Lennon is silly too as neither Lamela and Townsend have really proved they can be a quality right winger.
I think losing Shurrle makes this window a net negative for Chelsea. I agree about Lennon. The thing we needed, along with another striker, IMO, was a pacy winger. A Lennon type. I have no idea why he’s never figured in Pochettino’s plans, because he seems like a player Pochettino, along with most other managers, would like. Outside-footed? Injury prone? Demanded to start?
