    I think there is a genuine chance this could happen. Yourselves or Villa. Spurs or any of the other big guns will just result in more bench time. He could do worse than to move abroad for me as I think they'd love him and develop his game no end. But he is likely to stay at home and I think unless Everton show an interest, you and Villa will be in pole position.

    We're a decent chance, but slight underdogs if tottenham are keen. Fingers crossed!

    I just think where will he play. Lennon and Bale will take some shifting. They looked like they were flying against us and we did well to contain them. He certainly has no hope of shifting Bale, and despite injuries Lennon would probably throw a paddy if he got dumped. He's a fool if he goes there. Even as a Newcastle fan I'd prefer he went to you than Spurs because he could be of use to England. Of course I'd prefer he went abroad :biggrin:
