I have no issue with him playing in this one. As I mentioned earlier, given what we have and the nature of our opponents, I get the team selection today.

 

MP1 must be regretting going for a back line, could have fielded three more upfront and broken the league record for goals scored.

In all seriousness, we have got a makeshift back line and toothless attack. Middle of the park is where we win or lose this then.

He's is not the scapegoat. A scapegoat is by definition :a person who is blamed for the wrongdoings, mistakes, or faults of others, especially for reasons of expediency. I might be speaking only for myself (but I believe the other are of the same opinion) but I really don't blame Redmond for the wrongdoings of this team. He's really the tiniest part of the problem. He doesn't pick himself not can he play above his abilities so I have really nothing to blame him for.

The reason why so many people mention him is only because we are of the opinion he's not a very good footballer. That very different from making him a scapegoat.

Come off it Archers. Why do you think we despair? He is anonymous and so lacking in contribution that the mere fact he completes a take on, creates a chance or gets a shot on target from 35 yards is cause for celebration. The things that make people claim he had a good game are the bare minimum any winger in any team should be doing. Doesn't make him good. And him being bang average doesn't make the fans at fault either.

Totally. I thought weeks ago when he was overlooked for two months in favour of Long that he would be gone in January. Hopefully the manager goes first and we get someone who can figure out how to use him.

 

I feel for him. He's hasn't been amazing but to be overlooked in favor of someone hasn't scored must hurt a little bit.
