We’ve completely fallen apart since the penalty. They’re killing us.

Game's gone. Get the important players like Saka off and protect him for Newcastle. Let them score as many as they want, just don't get anyone injured.

Joke of a refereeing performance as usual. You can always count on the officials to screw over Arsenal in our biggest games. Written in the stars.

To be honest, we’ve been **** since the penalty and thoroughly deserve to have been pasted like this.

    Can’t complain about the scoreline.

What concerns me are the injury to Gabriel and suspensions. Not what we need at this stage of the season.

It’ll take a monumental effort to get a win in Newcastle. Just need to give it everything and then some.

White and Tomiyasu centre half. Cedric and Tavares full back. Ropey.

    Can we have Saliba please?!

Arteta is a clueless pr!ck! He really is out of his depth, no chance of a result against Newcastle away! We will probably get a point against Everton.. That is our season done, I guess!

The thought of Saint-Maximin up against Cedric or Tavares isn’t a pleasant one.

Ref killed that game with a BS pen and a soft first yellow, second one was fair enough, but he also missed an elbow that Son dished out on Holding too

Should have managed what was a spicy derby a lot better, but wanted to make a headline for himself

    Killed the game

Also, Gary Neville’s fawning over Spurs and how glorious they supposedly are for the ENTIRE game made me sick. Can’t believe I had to listen to that BS all match.

Trying to force a narrative that suits his Sky agenda.

    Can’t stand the sanctimonious twat.

Pen was 50/50 dependant on ref, shouldn't be that way but we all know it is.
Second goal was the iffy one, came from a corner which came from a free kick given to the Spuds after one of their players lost his balance after stamping on Saka's ankle.

At least our destiny is in our own hands. Gotta pull ourselves together and beat Newcastle. Perhaps Burnley will do us a favor on the weekend.

    BS decisions all round.

    Inconsistent too

We were shaping up well up until the ref decided to **** that game up

I honestly don't think we were bad tonight. Lost our heads after we went a man and 2-0 down. From then on, it was one-way traffic. Hard to blame anyone, really.

2 moments of madness cost us the game:

the first from the ref on that first trigger happy penalty.

    the second from rob holding.

After that don’t really blame the players not much you can do.

AS LONG AS all attention is now on Newcastle; that is now a bigger game.

Also wouldn’t rule out Burnley getting something from spurs.

NLD in 2018 or 19...1st goal from a wrongly given free kick AND the scorer was offside. 2nd goal also offside.

Last season lamela was sent off for 2 yellows, one of which was very soft.

    ****e happens.

Penalty was correct but rarely given unless it is for a "big" club imo.

Saka dived in the 2nd minute and should of got one. Gabriel could have been booked for being a petulant twat when tackled in the 5th minute.
Holding should have been booked in the 10th minute for after on Son when he was on the floor.
He was booked for his third foul on Son...Davies was booked for his first foul on 16 minutes...Holding was a dickhead and anything else just excuses his stupidity imho.

We were missing some important players who have greatly improved under Conte so you should have played on our weaknesses tbh.

You lost cos your players ****ed up along with Arteta.

I was pissed with the Spurs performance mentioned above...**** the poor decisions for the goals ... we deserved nothing from the game and today nor did arsenal.

Unfortunately for us top four is in your hands.

Does piss me off that we'll lose to Burnley and or Norwich <laugh>

Conte has the audacity to talk about other managers’ complaining when he’s been whinging the entire season about his squad at Spurs? The match-fixing, wig-wearing hypocrite can **** off. Has absolutely no class or self-awareness.

I agree with a lot of what you’re saying however I do think we were the slightly better side up until the penalty.
Cedric’s challenge was a bit silly, but they happen every game and never get given as fouls/penalties. The referee suddenly just decides that today would be the day he starts giving penalties for gentle nudges in the box?
If that’s the case, then fair enough, but then I expect to see dozens of penalties given every game. Not gonna happen though, is it?

The corner which led to your 2nd goal was from a free-kick that shouldn’t have been given in your favour. Saka was fouled and he mystifyingly gave the decision your way.

Holding’s sending off I can’t complain about. I don’t know why he was so aggravated all game. Bizarre of him to behave that way.

Whilst I acknowledge we’ve benefited from refereeing decisions in previous games against you, you guys also have benefitted from some against us too. And tonight, I don’t think you can argue that the referee was very lenient toward you with a lot of decisions.

This doesn’t take away from the absolute **** show of a performance from the players, but it also doesn’t make it any easier.
