I think that this lineup means that we'll see Paulinho playing in his best role, but I fear that we'll lack a little creativity and width.
Naughton and Davies aren't the most attacking fullbacks in the world and Pochettino prefers wingers that cut in, so I think that Lennon will start on the left.
Should be pretty solid through the centre of midfield and I hope Kane does himself justice as the lone striker.

Or it could be Paulinho's last chance top prove he deserves to stay...

Holtby was essentially free, but we paid a small fee to bring him early -£1m?

Yeah, we paid an advance fee in panic because the club felt we needed immediate cover for the injured ... Sandro.

Good to see Sandro play tonight, and Vlad. I wonder if Kaboul's presence means Vertonghen and Dier against Pool? Surely Fazio wont play yet.

How I see it. After disappointing in a deeper lying role, he's being tried as one of the attacking three, I think. In Pochettino's system, he should be a better fit there.

Dembele-Sandro should be a good deep lying pair. They were certainly very good a couple of years ago.

I'm hoping that since Holtby already showed he can be effective, he's being rested. But I'm not sure how much hope I really have.

Dunno if tis an Argentinian Spanish to English thing, but Pochettino starting his first replies in
every interview with "Yes ..." reminds me of when Ossie used to be interviewed. :)

And because Real Madrid are c**ts nowadays, I would prefer Spurs to revert to white/navy for UEFA kit.

Never seen such a blatant foul. Got to be red.

Not a red for me. We are Spurs, we don't want done to others what is done to us.

The ref's really taking his time with this one, isn't he? I think he'll only get a booking.
Hope the keeper's ok. Never a good sign when both sets of physios go out there.

Just saw one of their players pointing around his face, suggesting a break to the cheekbone or eye socket. Not good.
Ref's got to book the poor bloke as he's being stretchered off, too. Awkward...

Kane was ****ting himself. Silly to let him take it, as he missed one at the same stage before. Wasn't meaningful in that tie, though.

Nasty collision. I hope the keeper is okay. I guess Naughton is. Terrible decision from the keeper. Yellow card is the right call.

I was afraid of that. A long delay is never good for a pen taker.
