Well it did work so in that sense it was a "good" pass but really I think a lot of credit goes to Kane for being quick and brave to believe he'd get there first. Which he did, just, but the pass didn't help him much.
That's the one linked in the Twitter post. And it's been deleted. Big news this week about goals being posted on Vine and people being naughty, naughty boys for doing it. Grinds my gears... What am I going to do? Stop going to football matches and cancel my Sky Sports subscription because I can see the goal clips online? Grrrrrr
I'm torn on this. Basically are we happy to give definitive verdicts on the likes of Chadli, Paulinho, Soldado, Lamela, even Holtby, Townsend, Chiriches? We maybe should be after at least a year (and in Townsend's case several). But I'm still not sure I can. There are still, for various reasons, question marks over so many of our players. Dembele's another, Kane's another (though he's starting to make himself a good case is it a good enough case to get a prem loan or agood enough case to really help Spurs get top 4?). Plus we need to decide if Dawson has a role and if Verts is ever going to stop looking s**t. Oh and if Kaboul's gonna be able to stay fit. All these question marks and yet I and so many on here have one solid thought about this squad - Sandro's our best DM, arguably one of our best players and we always look vulnerable without a DM. Yet he looks to be more likely than most to move on for some bizarre reason.
https://vid.me/53p Unbelievable miss, suicide pass from Vertonghen, great save by Lloris and two brilliant finishes.

https://vine.co/v/MLOZ6x7bbwM That Kane finish reminds me of someone. Can't think who it is. Sure whoever it was scored against Poland though.
Thanks PNP. First link I've clicked onto with success! All the others said 'oops, page not found'. Great to see the goals at last!.
Didn't realise it was an early kick off. Surely whoever did the match thread should've pointed that out. Another close win for us then. Not the drubbing that might have been expected but hey, a wins a win and Pochettino's unbeaten start goes on 2 good goals from the look of it too, just need Soldado to start producing in the PL.
Thanks for those highlights Inda, the stream I had was ****ing shocking, kept buffering every 45 seconds so made it hard to truly analyse the goals and general play. Lamela was the game changer, two assists and should've had two goals. More of that in the League please mate Both great finishes for Kane and Soldado, so that'll give the pair a nice confidence boost - not that Kane seems lacking any, he's really coming on leaps and bounds and I'm becoming genuinely excited about how good he can become now. I was always a fan of the bloke but I felt that he'd never really be considered a first choice striker, but a useful one to have in the squad, though if he continues his impressive form and builds on it, I'm beginning to believe the lad may be able to lead the line for us on a regular basis down the line.
Cheers PNP although I like the way your video left us all on the edge of our seats wondering what is happening in the England women v Wales match
Mighty, I'll only be concerned if we don't beat them by a good walloping at White Hart Lane. I want the team to adopt a "Let's win this" attitude rather than a "Let"s draw or let's just do enough" attitude which to me is lazy and lacks ambition. We won away so we should win by more at home rather than last season when we scored five away and scraped three at home. So as the team is winning I don't think that we need to invest too heavily as certain players cqnq do it for us already.
I think we have good quality in the squad, though it will take us a while to figure out who deserves to start. On the other hand, with Liverpool signing Balotelli, and United rumored to be in for Di Maria and perhaps others, I would like to see a marquee signing. In past years, this squad would be more than good enough to get fourth (if Pocettino was successful shaping the team). The ante keeps getting raised, however. I'm not exactly sure where we need to strengthen though. Dier, Bentaleb and Kane all may have a bad game or two and return to the bench. But I keep thinking they should be encouraged as much as possible, partly because turning young players into stars is what Spurs do particularly well. If we start Kane as one of the attacking three, which worked today and looks sensible, then another striker is a possibility, as is a playmaker or goal scoring winger. The team I'd play against QPR: Lloris Fredericks Kaboul Dier Davies Capoue Bentaleb Kane Lamela Eriksen Adebayor Holtby and Soldado subs.
We have too many players with ? over their heads and the most worrying thing is that we lack some serious creativity.
