Sunday 13th April 2pm
Premier League
Molineaux Stadium

Kulsevski, Danso and Dragusin are still out, but the Swede has returned to full training.
Neither side has any suspensions, as Cunha returns from his nice and early.

Lineups for each side's last league game:

Spurs: Vicario; Porro, Romero, Davies, Spence; Bergvall, Bentancur, Maddison; Johnson, Solanke, Son.
Subs: Kinsky, van de Ven, Udogie, Gray, Bissouma, Sarr, Odobert, Tel, Richarlison.
League form: WLDLLW.

Wolves: Sa; Doherty, Agbadou, T. Gomes; Semedo, J. Gomes, Andre, Ait-Nouri; Munetsi, Bellegarde; Strand Larsen.
Subs: Johnstone, Bueno, Djiga, R. Gomes, Doyle, Forbs, Guedes, Sarabia, Hwang.
League form: WLDWWW.

Ref: Anthony ****ing Taylor. VAR: Michael ****ing Oliver. Are they taking the piss?

TV: Not televised in the UK.

How would you like to line up for this one and how do you think we actually will line up?

Kinsky
Gray, Cassanova, Davies, Spence
Bissouma, Sarr
Odobert, Moore, Tel
Richarlison

Get Udogie on for Spence at HT so they only play 45 mins each.

Any of Scarlett/ Ajayi/ Olusesi/ Williams-Barnett etc minutes off the bench.

First XI’s then pretty much fully rested for Frankfurt.

We should be using this as an opportunity for other squad players to get some minutes and prove themselves for next season. Whether Ange will or not…

Thursday is too important not to have a fully rested first team.

This is write-off game - the nominated officials just confirming that fact! - so no expectations. I'd prefer the likes of VdV, Romero, Son, Solanke, Maddison, Porro, Spence and Bergvall to not even be on the bench. I'd say Udogie as well, but he could probably do with some extra minutes in his legs.

Let the youngsters have the day! :emoticon-0148-yes:

I say we sub on Maddison in the 75th minute

Be nice to see him potentially having any kind of influence on a match in the last 10-15 minutes for once...

Ange has to find a balance here. No point putting out the reserve team if we find ourselves struggling in this game. And then having to send on senior players to rescue a result. Would prefer it the other way around and have the option to take off players to rest them for Thursday.

True but Spurs aren’t winning the EL. To finish where they are now would be horrific.

I highly doubt we’ll finish much higher than we are. Can’t see us getting top ten.

We struggle playing twice a week too, both in terms of performances and the fact it usually results in someone getting injured. **** tomorrow off and put all our eggs in Thursday’s basket. Probably still likely we go out but I’d rather go out at full throttle than some half-arsed limp performance because we wanted to try and finish 11th or 12th in the league, lol.

A lot of the first team players could benefit from the minutes imo. Obviously that brings a risk of injury but I’d much rather finish as high up the league as possible.

Nah most of our players are burnt out already. I think it’s really risky if we go full strength tomorrow and then try beating Frankfurt at their gaff with an even more jaded side. 10th-15th in the league is all the same to me, it’s a **** season whichever way you look at it. All focus and eggs need to be in Europa, it’s the only thing that saves our season.

We’ve got nothing to play for in the PL. The players know it, too. We’ve been poor all season, but the last 4-5 matches have been like a carbon copy of one another. They’re just going through the motions.
It’ll be the same today, as they’ll all have an eye on Thursday, so I can’t see the point in risking injury to those we intend to use for the Frankfurt match. We’re 90 mins away from continuing to have something to play for this season, and it isn’t the game today.

I am in the rest the majority camp but that is the logical thing to do so I think we can assume that Ange will do the opposite! Of course the other things about giving the 'fringe' players minutes is that they may feel that they can play there way into the Thursdays team.

I would play Vic and Romero and rest the rest

Vicario, Gray, Romero, Davies, Regulion, Bissouma, Sarr, Moore, Tel, Odobert, Richarlison/Scarlett

Ange - Will rest VDV, Udogie, Bentancur and Son the rest will play.

Wolves have become a proper bogey team to us and I don't expect that to change today.
