Lemina’s doing a very good - and annoying - job on Kane so far. They’ve got him man marking him at all times, basically cuts whatever creativity we have to zero.
It’s too early and especially difficult joining in January but so far I’ve seen nothing from him that makes him stand him out
0-0 HT. We've been much the better team, but still haven't created enough chances. Sa made one great save from Kulusevski and that was about it. Clearly the better side though and we're a little unlucky not to lead at the break.
Seen worse halves from us but it’s hardly been great. Unlucky from Porro at the end there, looks like we might have someone who can hit a freekick though. Need to find a way to get space for Kane from Lemina as Harry’s the only player you feel like will grab us a goal seeing as none of our other forwards will.
I think that was a tough half for both teams, as it was so choppy. Lots of injuries and breaks in play. Nobody really got a chance to build up a head of steam. We had a good period just before Costa jarred his knee, then a break for five minutes.
