Was that our 5th successive clean sheet with Sanchez in the team, and our first this season, no I am not suggesting that big dave makes us better defensively but he is doing something right!!

Bissouma maybe for the next game, he is after all notably excellent under a press. Bentancur will usually manage to retain a ball but Biss has a better chance of doing something productive with it.

Well, he did have Sanchez to his right instead of Romero!

If he can score with one of them, that’s OK

Traore looked awful when he came on...didn't want him last season but can you imagine him instead of Kulusevski?

He’s a bang average player and I’m being kind in saying that. Wouldn’t be a pro baller if he didn’t have that electric pace.

    Passmap time

Genuinely wish they had maps available for both halves, because looking at that you would think we were dictating the match and getting the ball up to the front three whenever we wanted - but what this really shows is the second half improvement, because our first half was stodgy with about as much penetration as a drunken eunuch

However, one issue is impossible to ignore, and that's the almost complete lack of traffic CB to WB on both flanks, exacerbated by the lack of traffic from Sanchez to the pivot. If it was Romero at RCB you'd see thick lines to both Bentancur and Emerson, but with Sanchez there's an average line to Emerson and nothing to midfield, while the lack of directness on the left as Davies is barely getting the ball to Perisic further explains the lack of momentum before half time

It's also worth noting that our map looks a little cramped, as we don't seem to be playing as wide as we usually do, which stands out more when you see Wolves' map

This appears to have been planned, though, as Perisic practically making our formation 424 coupled with Jonny being pushed deeper than Ait-Nouri does indicate we were looking to make Wolves lopsided - and this was surely by design, because by overloading one flank with Son and Perisic while having Deki having free reign down the other not only means we could pin back both of their WBs, but also indicates we were setting different traps on different flanks

Alright guys. This isn't football related and if this isn't appropriate to post admins please tell me and I'll delete.
My stepson has auto immune disease and pancreatitis ( many months in hospital). He's well in the road to recovery now ( had stoma )
He's just started his own YouTube channel * doing lego stuff and Id really appreciateif you could type in Ronster-Monster2 into YouTube and subscribe. Would mean the world to him and us.

As I said I hope this isn't appropriate.
