I don't think it's flattering. Who is below us that look better than us? I don't see any other team who are currently better but lower. However I do understand the concerns that we are not quite clicking like we all expect us to.
Lets be honest, we've been dire in quite a few games thus far this season, so its not unexpected. Hopefully though, as has also been the case, when we've been dire in one half of football in a game, in the other half we've been bloody brilliant! Fingers crossed in hope more than expectation...
I think it's midfield that's the problem lenny. Ade is not going to have much to work with if he does get on unless we get a grip.
The can't believe the crowed booed, the support has been **** so far. Last year at this point we had Modric, Kaboul, King, Benny, Ade & Rafa This year: Lloris (not playing in the prem) Dembele, Verts, Gylfi, Dempsey & Defoe. Is it any wonder we are not as good? Wish we still had Rafa and I believe Ade and Lloris should be playing. PS both Friedels saves were standard. If they had gone in ppl would be going mental.
True that I wasn't taking into account the quality of those below us - but it's not been the sort of superior football or performances that only just got us fourth in the past is it?

Caldwell just elbows Dempsey in the back of the neck in the box. How's that not a foul? Hope Dempsey doesn't try to get his own back, as he's on a yellow.
I dont really see the point of Dempsey in this formation. His technique and close control is not good enough in such a tight space. He and Gylfi offer very litle to the build up play. Would like to see us buy sessengon (sp) to act as a rotation option with Dembele
