I know that BBC reporting standards have slipped, but seriously... a. Why was it remarkable? and 2. Did they forget to mention that Kudos kicked Vdv 3 times to create the incident in the first place?

"Remarkably, Kudus was sent off after pushing both Sarr and Micky van de Ven in the face, following an intervention from VAR Christopher Kavanagh."

Maybe they mean it's remarkable that he managed to commit so many red card offences so quickly?
I thought it was remarkable that Andy Madley Deeply only gave the pillock a yellow.

You can stike off Hoddle , or is it just European nights he has the downer on Spurs

Hoddle is a Spurs fan so quite critical of them which comes across as anti Spurs sometimes.

Nice performance and a good reaction after the Brighton debacle, Kulusevski is looking quality playing centrally and was easily man of the match. It was also good to send that tax burden of a club packing in their cup final, on to Palace and hopefully some of these bumps in the road start to even out and we see more consistency. COYS

It'll be interesting to see how Postecoglou goes forward now, as the team balance was definitely better with Sarr in the team.
That could just be for one game, it could be something that we need to work on tactically or this could be the new standard selection.
The schedule's about to get very congested, so heavy rotation will be expected anyway.

Alkmaar are next up and we could conceivable change quite a lot of the starting XI barring the defence, realistically.
It's going to be tricky and the manager has a lot of difficult decisions to make.

    ****ing love Koreans, man.

So many go to games to record Son and then you get angles of goals the broadcasters can only dream of.

It's less of a surprise given last season's regular midfield was Bissouma, Sarr & Maddison so what we basically did was change to a configuration which Bissouma & Sarr have in their muscle memory with Deki in Maddison's role

That being said, all the people who say Ange lacks tactical nous or doesn't know when to be pragmatic have been oddly quiet about us bringing on Sarr yesterday, instead focusing on us not bringing on Mikey Moore at a time the Spammers were definitely getting chippy in some of their challenges

Sarr's introduction was a surprise, but full credit to Ange as it effectively changed the game. :emoticon-0148-yes:
However, opting to go with Werner rather than Moore has far more negatives than the possibility that he might have been on the end of a bad tackle.

The thing with Werner is he's one of the best dribblers we have at the moment - it's just once he gets into a position to do something with it, he turns into the other definition of the word dribbling

I’ve said it before but I do seriously wonder if there’s a stipulation in the loan that says we have to play him a certain amount.

Just hoping there’s a clause where we can cancel the loan in January. Genuinely awful footballer that has no place at this club. The fact he’s in the way of Moore’s development makes it that much more sickening. Can’t stand watching him in our shirt.

Twice in almost quick succession, yes ladies and gentlemen we are back for Season 7 Episode 2 of DH's AwayDays! Will it be 8th time lucky for Ange in London Derbies, find out as this week as we travel to our Apples and Pears neighbours over at Knees Up Mother Brown!

    PRE-MATCH:

Need to stay in the game until the last 40 mins and watch them fold.
    Watch who fold now?

Lopetegui is a far superior tactician to ange and will take no issue with setting up to cynically exploit their vulnerabilities.
    About that...

I've decided to Captain Antonio in my fantasy team this week
    Ouch.

Be disappointed if we come away from there without at least a point.
    Enjoy your weekend, bud.

I shall put Johnson in my fantasy team this week. That will stop the ****er scoring
    You motherfucker!!!

If one team wins convincingly, the other manager is almost certain to head to the top of the sack race.
    #MoyesIn

Timo Werner will score. I just know it.
Brother, I have a better chance of scoring.

    Their fans are mostly insufferable
    Thanks very much.

    Son is still injured afaik.
Who wants to break it to him?

With the high line they play, I am expecting Areola to be able to get in behind them.
Should've tried it, he'd have probably done a better job than Antonio.

Just hope we’re not embarrassed today.
    About that...

Was hoping they wouldn't start Bissouma. Damn it.
    Great foreshadowing!

Full Spurs love-in on TNT. Hoddle, Crouch and Les Ferdinand. Ugh! Surprised they haven’t wheeled Ricky Villa out.
    Wish they would've!

    FIRST HALF:

    *0-1* Kudos
    Get in Kudus!!!!!!
Bowen is such a good player.
    Regrettably, he is...

    *1-1* Kulu
It's been coming. Dreadful since we scored.
    Popadom wrists
    <laugh>

It’s embarrassing just how pleased the media were for their goal
It's because no one likes you.

Paqueta has Tottenham in his accumulator.
Or how many yellows in the game.

    SECOND HALF:

Maddison off. He hasn’t done much so no loss for them
    Agreed, Sarr Sarr Toure time.

Porro looks so much like Steveo from Jackass that it really bothers me.
    <laugh> I don't see it tbh.

    *2-1* Bissouma
2-1 AWB let his man go , terrible defending
    No more than we deserve.
Reckon Areola dived out the way pre-emptively there.
Getting the feeling they may want a new keeper...

    *3-1* OG Todibo
Time to turn it off game over
    We're easy pickings.
When we're bad, we're really really bad.
    Glorious.

    Clueless manager, sorry
    BRING BACK MOYESEH!

So many thumpings with this manager. He is clueless
Hope you don't think we're done just yet...

    *4-1* Son
    Good grief.
    Getting humilated now...
Our goal keeper is a ghost. The ball just goes straight through him.
Son had almost the whole half of the pitch to himself
Giving Sonny that much space is almost criminal. Almost.

Didn't see this coming after the first half tbh. Whatever change they made has folded us.
Just Ange allowing for some Sarr Sarr Toure things, mate.

I blame the neckline on the shirts
    Fair enough.

Garbage all round. All that money spent and we'll be hopeful for 15th this season.
    If you're lucky.

These lot again spoil your weekend with calamitous defending.
    Hey, that's usually our line!

If Werner scores Loppy can f*** off.
Well he's safe for this week then.

When Maddison came off for Sarr. I thought we’ve got a chance here.
    Foolish thinking.

We spent a lot of money on a lot of very average players in the summer
We've been proficient in that don't you worry!

    *Kudos red*
A yellow card for Kudus is a letoff - he should be sent off.
Var is going to give Kudus a red
f*** sake, ****ing joke. He hardly touched him.
Think he wanted a 3 game ban.
    Can't blame him.

The unhappiness of Kudus and Paqueta is a major concern.
Who'd be happy playing for West Ham?

    POST-MATCH:

I had a bet in the week with a Spurs fan, I said Postecoglu will get sacked before Lopetegui. This is all my fault.
We've found RCL's West Ham equivalent.

Thankfully there are teams that are truly dreadful so we will not go down.
    Silver linings, eh?

3 new defenders and DM in...and still sieving goals constantly. 40m for Kilman...about 20m too much.
Bonkers amount to spend on him.

I'm at a wedding so only managed to watch the first 25 mins and thought we were really good up til then. What happened and how bad was it?
Just enjoy the wedding, mate, maybe go to the bar for a few.

Question still hang over Bowen after taking the captaincy.
    We'll take him!

Todibo still untangling his legs from being rinsed by Son.
