"For those of you asking... Yes, it is Frank Lampard's Derby. Just like it is Steven Gerrard's Rangers and Thierry Henry's Monaco." - BBC Live Thread, 8.45pm. **** you, BBC. **** you.
Seeing us attack with pace and directness has been refreshing considering some of the ponderous stuff we've played for large chunks of the season Foyth's looked good, Son's goal was long overdue, and Dele hasn't missed a beat - although the fullbacks don't appear to be in sync with the rest of the team, noticeably mistiming passes that would've put Eriksen clear through on a couple of occasions, and the only real option to address this would be to have them swap flanks Hopefully we don't dither before unleashing yet another Sissokoing on them in the second half
Yeah, that was good but Hernandez lost him very easily early on for a chance he had, he was lucky not to be booked for a silly arm pull and it was hard to tell for sure but I think he'd lost duels for a couple of set-pieces. As I say I think it's tough for those 2 out there up against seasoned pros but they need to sharpen up a bit.
Big save by Gazzaniga from Antonio, but I can't but feel that Lloris would've come for the ball and got it. Push in the back on Foyth and we should've had a goalkick too, but we've eventually sorted it out. Need to get back to playing the ball around rapidly in midfield.
How was that not a push in the back by Antonio? Ridiculous, that's twice now, you're supposed to be shoulder to shoulder and not push out your forearm for it to be a fair challenge
You win the quickest stream contest I saw your comment and wondered what you were on about as they had it up our end
Obiang and Hernandez replaced by ex-Goon Perez and should-be-banned Arnautovvic. All three subs used.
