Now I know I will never in a million years be qualified at this football malarky, but how about taking Dier off and bringing on Janssen? Nothing wrong with Dier but I don't think we need the extra defensive body there. Spurs need to stretch the WH defence.
At the moment I don't think we can afford any lessening of our defensive make-up. They have been finding too much space so far.
After a couple of early missed passes, Davies has done well - going forward positively but not getting caught out at the back. Unlike Walker........
I don't like us with a back four. Too flat, too predictable and prone to simple diagonal balls. Get Dembele on and go to a back 3 with wing backs.
It's all a bit obvious on that left hand side though. One of our attacking players is running to the left corner and passing the ball backwards 15 yards down the line to Davies, because he doesn't have the pace to get in behind them on his own. West Ham have sussed this and made any attack down the left completely redundant. We need to take much more advantage of the right hand side. There's been 1 or two good runs down there, as well as some nice intricate passes. We need to keep at it, as it'll also draw bookings if West Ham aren't disciplined with their defending.
