    I can think of plenty...
Barren Dent - no logical reason to sign him in the first place, totally unsuited to our style of play, and more likely to play the victim card than a defence-splitting pass
Emmanuel Adebayor - justified what we all suspected by being on his best behaviour and playing well when on loan...and neither when he was signed
Kyle Naughton - never has a player passing back to the keeper filled me with more dread than Naughton's and his ability to get assists for the opposition
Ramon Vega - at no point during his time in our team did I feel as if we had a hope in hell of getting a clean sheet
Paolo Tramezzani - you know a player is bad when Ben Thatcher is suggested as an improvement and nobody can argue with that

We certainly did with Barren Dent, considering he was our joint-record signing for six years until the Paulinho-Soldado-Lamela triumvirate

    Hang on, that reminds me...
Paulinho - a box-to-box midfielder who couldn't defend and seemed incapable of passing to his teammates, all for £17m!

Surely David Bentley's name is shuffling over the horizon. Not only did we pay a fortune, but fekking Arsenal got some of it.

There's a £15m reminder we could do without. And now I'm thinking of that skip

It was a healthy sum for the time, £200k sounds familiar. Half of what Brighton paid that summer for Mark Lawrenson! Three years later we bought Paul Price, who was worse, if such a thing can be imagined.

Iwonder about the pre Harry managers we had after Keith.Bloody scary thinking about them isn't it. How we managed to survive is a wonder. How did we manage to buy so many duffers? the forwards couldn't forward and the defenders couldn't defend.
Could have done an Arsenal and field a lot of choppers.....but that's not our style!

Vega played well in that league cup final that we won. Not sure in any other game, but in that game he did.

Anyone remember that game against the gooners?
No ... not the 40 yarder in the 4 all draw...the 4-1 loss in the league cup at the lane. Bentley put in the worst performance I have ever seen... as in EVER...IN MY WHOLE LIFE...ON TV OR LIVE...OR IN THE PLAYGROUND

Unitl that Sissoko one at Wembley in the Champions league this season <whistle>
