Do you have that ability under the lease? To reduce the size of the pitch means the edges get worn where the linesmen run (look at any ground), this would mean when Internationals play there the edges of the actual playing surface would be ****.
Nope. What ever anyone says ... we are not a selling club. We have only sold players we want that are refusing to play for us and are demanding to leave. EVERY CLUB bar Madrid and Barca have to do that. If the players demand to move or refuse to play then we may have problems.
A bigger pitch should favour the superior footballing side. You are superior to West Ham and most teams in the PL from a footballing perspective, so I don't think the pitch size is the reason you struggle. it should be an advantage and has proven to be. As all the top sides in Europe play on big pitches.
Don't care how "easy" their run-in is, with just a 1 point gap the pressure is on. The fact is all teams want to beat the leaders at this stage of the season regardless of position, they see it as a big scalp and a boost for their own confidence, just like at the start of a new season everyone want's to beat the previous seasons champions.
No, it is in reference to press plank-ton repeatedly trying to ****-stir about Spurs players going and his recent comment that if they want to buy Spurs players, go and knock on Levys' door.
Every club INCLUDING Madrid and Barca have to do that, what use is a player who refuses to play I assume you really didn't want players like Defoe and VdV then?
Not an insurmountable problem! You will be amazed at what groundkeepers can do these days with the pitch.
The only teams in the top 6 that haven't had one of their players taken by Madrid or Barcelona are Chelsea and Citeh. There must be a common denominator. For the life of me, I can't put my finger on what it might be.........
Oh right, I kind of took it as "speak to the man who makes the decisions". You do realise that the press link all clubs players to other clubs in the silly season, it's nothing Spurs related only and should be ignored. Paranoia can be very harmful.
Sorry, but your confusing of paranoia with press plank-ton who waste question time when they are told every week by Pochettino that he does not comment on "rumours" , is just silly. If only there was a way that you could see of all Pochettinos' pre-match press conferences every week ...
WE decided to sell Defoe because AVB did not want to play him as he thought he was past it. All premier League clubs seemed to agree as NONE bid the £7m we got for him. When AVB was sacked Defoe had already agreed to go to a Canadian team. We agreed to sell VDV at his request as he was living separately from his wife who was living in Europe and he wanted to try and save his marriage. If those are example of us being a selling club then they are really poor mate
That would be good, I would love to see Jose's too. Do you think there is such a way? Is Poch the only manager that gets asked about possible transfers out, if so that is bang out of order and the paranoia is understandable.
We have had; Rose, Walker, Toby, Kane , Dele, Eriksen, Lloris, Trippier and Dier all linked to moves to Liverpool, City and United THIS season alone. It is not paranoid to point out how much **** is chatted about our club by the media. We have not sold ONE wanted player to an ENGLISH club in 9 yrs yet now we are about to sell 9! No other club is subjected to such bollocks on this level.
I really don't keep track of all tour transfers (or anybody else's come to that), I just find it astonishing that you think you will not sell a player you want to keep regardless of fee offered unless he refused to play for you. Every player who is ever sold has to "want to go" because if they wanted to stay all they have to do is say no and honour their side of the contract, other than that you can pay them off. Therefore you are saying that every player you have ever sold wanted to go, do you believe this?
I really think you should take it more as a compliment that the press link so many of your players to other clubs as an improvement on what they have. Lets be honest, if the player is happy where he is it shouldn't make any difference. Do you think your players are so fickle that being linked in the press to another club could turn their heads, or do you think they are committed to Spurs?
Does it show all managers interviews for the season, if so I may save it and watch it at the end of the season
