    WHY do we always struggle?
It doesn't matter who our manager is, we always make the opposition play their best against us and can't break them down.
Teams that are near the bottom of the table always turn up against us and look like world beaters.

As long as it is his right foot he will still bring an improvement in attitude

Especially when we have the chance to go top you knew we would play ****! Why can’t we really put a marker down with a fully committed great win for once!

Why are West Brom coming out to Chelsea music?

Free header for O'Shea. Should test Lloris, but it's thankfully wide. Bit of a push on the defender, but I think that'd stand.

Son has gone right off the boil. He was incredible at the start of the season but the last few games he has been really quiet

Better just now from Tanguy, turning and combining with Kane.

Half chance for Bale on the stretch too.

We need to keep this tempo up.

Decent break. Asking a lot of Bale and I think Son was the better ball.

Our tactics are revealing one clear issue with our setup: we keep hitting speculative through balls in the hope that it reaches somebody who can do something with it, but as our midfield is set in a low block instead they just sit back and wait for the ball to come back to us

If we were a pressing side that tactic would absolutely have merit, as our midfield would be pressing hard the second we lost the ball from one of those errant through balls so we could still create, but because we're set up to counter games like this one prove the obvious flaw with this Frankenstein's monster tactical approach

Reguilon forces their keeper to make a save, even if it's a pretty easy one. Is that our first shot on target?

Ndombele did well there, but I think he picked the wrong pass. Son was in, Kane had several players between him and the goal.

Tbh at least this gsme will kill the idea we are serious title challengers.
    We were terrible v Everton
One very bad half and one very good half v Southampton
A good half v toon and average 2nd half
A good 90 mins v a very poor united side
A very good first half v west ham and a second half that was....:headbang:
    Poorish throughout v Burnley
A decent half and a barely ok half v Brighton.

It's pretty average at best tbh

Lovely reverse pass by Kane. Tame shot from Son. Another on target, at least.

    Lo Celso replaces Ndombele.

You’re six yards out for **** sake, Lo Celso, that’s gotta hit the target. Taking Tanguy off was stupid too, he wasn’t tiring and he seemed over that injury.
