I hate the way we play sometimes. It's like an exhibition with no real bite Plus ignoring our 8ft striker by delaying and delaying before considering putting a cross in is criminal. Llorente has been quite smart with the ball...everyone else is head down looking for a fancy goal. Sort it out..we've got 3 points at stake.
I thought Lloris was poor for the goal he misjudged the flight of the ball which is pretty basic at this level. Llorente looking much brighter and beginning to benefit from the starts
Plenty ball..lots of sideways passing...no one seems to really have a clue as to how to work Watford's defensive set up. A lot of head down play
Sissoko and Son the only bright spots. Although no real criticism of Llorente who has tried his best with no service whatsoever. The engma that is Eriksen has returned unfortunately.... Another anonymous, ponderous performance.
Are the instructions to play crosses in like that, or do we genuinely not have anyone who can cross the ball higher than shin-height? Not sure but it's negating the one reason we might want Llorente on the pitch. More average football from us and even though we were mostly untroubled, we've conceded. That's the way it's been going for us lately. We've scored 3 in our last 3 and 2 of them were thanks to some shocking defending. Don't see where our goals are with Watford surely going to dig in even more. Can't see us getting 3 points and we're being saved by Bournemouth beating Chelsea at the moment.
No consolation really Roo..it's not as though we take advantage of it. We are very flat mentally...I don't feel a sense of hunger taking control.
Yep Sissoko was excellent, not a bad performance overall just need a little luck with roll of the ball. Rose looks slow though.
Very flat atmosphere and s very flat performance. We do not look like scoring. I do not wanna single out s player but Aurier has been appallingly bad in every department. We look so lacking in confidence it's tragic especially as Watford have not been good tbh. They have defended well and took advantageof a terrible bit of defending. Can not see us scoring tbh so Cock Foster will have another laugh at our expense
