It’s a lot different when MK are involved in the match. The hype around the Utd game would’ve no doubt been huge for the club. Armchair and neutrals would’ve rushed to see their hometown side face England’s biggest club, let alone regular match goers.

We only got about 20k to the ‘home’ tie at Wembley vs Barnsley last season, highly doubt we’ll get as many to trek to Milton Keynes. May get a few casual MK fans there to watch but I’d be very surprised if more than 20k fans turned up altogether.

Possibly but just from tonight I have quite a few texts asking about getting tickets and on Mk spurs Facebook page there’s about 500 members so if they do too it should fill up.

I think for a one of match fans should just suck it up and go but hey if not I’ll stretch my legs out and enjoy the game by myself

Ah mate I hope you’re right, I really hope there is a decent turnout and that you and your lot enjoy it but I just can’t see it being any more than 15k-20k, if that. I live in Tottenham and even getting back from Wembley on a weeknight is **** for me - usually near midnight - so getting back from MK would be an absolute mare.

    Haha I don’t envy ya

It’s why I’m probably more pissed than most about the delay of the new stadium. I only live a 10-15 min walk from The Lane, ain’t been easy these past 12+ months having to actually trek for home games! Away ones are generally bad enough! Lol.

No Lloris for this game. Thigh injury.

“Hugo Lloris is out of action with a thigh injury. Moussa Sissoko's also out with a hamstring problem and Juan Foyth is still sidelined. Lamela will be assessed and Victor Wanyama's back in full training.”

Vorm is perfectly acceptable for Watford. Sissoko and Fyth - meh. If Lamela is close to fitness after the hamstring scare, then excellent news (probably means he'll be out to Feb). Victor at full throttle would be very welcome.

So with Lloris out (and hopefully out of the French squad to have a break), is it time for Vorm or Gazzaniga?
I'll be surprised if Pochettino's nephew (possibly...) starts, but I'm still quite puzzled about why we signed or him why he joined.
He's still pretty young for a goalkeeper and should be getting regular starts somewhere, in my opinion.

  16. My thoughts exactly and raised same points last week. Surely this is time - and the kind of game - to be getting him some match-time.
He's either the future or not. Cannot imagine we're going to keep going with MV until Bazuno arrives and matures <laugh>
