That was a horrible display. Wasn't this the team that beat Real Madrid,Dortmund and many others playing brilliant football. What happened?

Most of the team that played that night have played an additional 30+ games since, often picking up injuries on the way.

As I said during the match, our squad management's been questionable at times this season, be it exposing how we expect Dier to cover for Wanyama and Alderweireld when the two of them were injured at the same time with predictable results (which begs the question why we didn't revert to four at the back sooner) while Rose being unfit partly due to a lack of games and partly due to being overweight means Davies has been overworked, and then there's rushing Kane back from an ankle injury when playing a front three without him appeared to liberate our attacking options.

You might enjoy this....this bloke's wittering away to himself when someone hits him on the head with a bottle [8:31 to save you from 8 mins 30 seconds of soul numbing bollocks].

For the record, I don't condone the throwing of bottles at football matches. However, once it had been thrown, if it had to hit anybody.......

    That was an excellent shot!

My season ticket at WHL was in block 33 in Park Lane but before I got my ST I sat two blocks away in 35 which was the one right next to away fans. 99% of the time my seat was literally right next to where the barriers separated Spurs from away fans so I was basically within touching distance from the opposition. I had quite a bit thrown at me over the years, bottles that missed my head, coins and even a matchday program but the funniest one I've ever had was an unopened snickers bar by Chelsea fans when we beat them 2-1 thanks to Defoe and Bale. Didn't even lob it back, I just ate it <laugh>

Have only been hit by coins twice - OT and Anfield. I got hit by the ball once - Gerry Armstrong belted one into The Paxton Road when I was there with someone who didn't fancy The Shelf. I think it was against Coventry in a League Cup game. It hit me on the top of the head as I ducked and it bloody hurt, too. Probably the last time I ever stood in there.

Was anyone else as bemused by some of Watford's chants as I was?

"You're gonna win **** all!" You've never won anything.
"It's happening again!" Us beating you? Yep, sure is.
"Arsene Wenger, he's won more than you." He hasn't, but like Juande Ramos, he's certainly won more than you. What's he got to do with Watford, anyway?

There were a couple of others that I've forgotten, but it was like they all supported some other team and just tagged along for the day. Weird.

They got very upset when we mocked their 'offside goal'. They weren't very good at it, though.

Me and the bloke in front of me tried to get "Luton Town, they've won more than you." going but Monday was about the flattest atmosphere that I can remember.

We really need to lift it against Newcastle and Leicester.

We had "Susan Boyle, she's won more than you" near me! <laugh>

The atmosphere wasn't just bad though, it was verging on toxic. It's been like that a couple of times this season.
The City game was bloody awful, but a lot of that was down to the late Saturday kick-off, I think.
Hopefully it'll pick up a bit for the last couple of matches, but it needs addressing if it continues on to the new stadium.

For me the best thing about Monday evening was when the final whistle was blown. I found it very hard work to watch that and quite frankly it wouldn't bother me if I never go to Wembley again.

Just two more games. 4 points gets us CL football again. 6 points probably gets us third and an extra £2 million. We all need to get this over the line, especially given failures in recent big games. I shall be at both screaming my heart out for the shirt.

At one of the European games, a couple of years back, I had a plug adapter thrown at me. I use it to this day whenever I go abroad-absolutely brilliant.

Coins really hurt, had one similar to you in which it hit my right on the top of my head, gave me a little gash, thankfully nothing deep that would've required stiches but nonetheless it was bloody painful.

Yeah it was a strange one, maybe seeing as no one really gives a toss about them in terms of Prem rivalries they're wanting to try and create one with us? I mean half of the league have done so, so they may as well join in.

Newcastle will 100% be dead, just like it was Monday night.

I can imagine the Leicester game having a good one; last game of the season, final one at that **** hole before moving onto our new baby, Leicester and us seemingly having a minor-rivalry and I think if we can secure CL football by then, Spurs fans should be in a joyous mood to have a little end of season party.

We're on the same train line from Euston as them at the moment, so maybe it's upset them?

Depends on what is at stake by then.
Could be job already done or must win for any of those games.

Still can't imagine it being any good either way. Wembley atmosphere has been generally poor throughout and it's been even worse in mid-week games with the exception of Real and Dortmund in the CL, was absolutely rocking those nights.
