I think the (alleged) first team are going to be busy for next few weeks as 1. Conte will want to assess just how bad things are at the top and 2. Qualification in this competition is actually important, so he'll not be holding back with the Group so open.
Every manager who comes to Spurs wants to land a trophy….they want to break the hoodoo and be that man. This trophy is our best chance and Conte possibly sees it as the best route to breaking his euro trophy duck aswell.
I loved his line of “big trophies or small trophies are trophies”. I think that’s the right attitude to have, especially for a club that hasn’t won one for 13 years.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who looked at the thumbnail and wondered why Sean Dyche was managing Everton
At any point in the last twenty years, according to the angry smoothbrainer who writes SpursWeb's opinion pieces...
Team got posted on Insta: Lloris Dier, Romero, Davies Emerson, Hojbjerg, Skipp, Reguilon Lucas, Kane, Son So it’s 343, many were wondering if it would be that or 352. Edit: Now on Twitter
Strong side, guessing he’s going to take it seriously then. If that’s his first choice 11 then I’m glad he’s kept Skippy in.
I’m looking forward to seeing the two wingbacks, think this formation (and this manager) will really help them thrive.
Could just as easily be 352 with Lucas or even Kane playing in front of Skipp and Hojbjerg but behind the front 2.
Oh yes you've reminded me! Utterly embarrassing in the first leg. That dive from their keeper to get Scarlett booked should have been nominated for an Oscar. I hope we absolutely stuff them.
I doubt it'll be Kane, pretty sure Conte said during the Euros that Kane was dropping too deep and needs to stay in or around the box so I think he'll be looking to ensure that with us now.
No idea what to expect tbh. There’s been a lot of hype from me included. What’s changed after so little time though. Just here to enjoy the ride tbh
