9 goals conceded in 2 games. Disgraceful. Resign yank you are not just out of your depth but WAY WAY out of your depth. And resign the fukrs that employed the yank. A jokes a joke but fuk a pantomine!!
9 goals in the last two games is shocking but you cant keep blaming the manager or the Americans.......We have been pathetic in defence ever since Jenkins sold Ash and others......Bob has tried every combination and they are all not up to standard and whoever is our defensive head coach and his staff need to be replaced today and they can do that without the window....It is all well and good Jenkins admitting he has made a mistake but he has not only pass it away as a mistake he has totally ruined Swansea football club. We can blame all the new guys all we want but our club was ruined before they came and we have no choice other than to hope we keep up within touching distance of the bottom half dozen and put our eggs in one basket and buy well in the transfer window....
Exactly what I was thinking ..... It seems he was in two minds about whether to be attacking or defensive, and ended up fudging it. That said, today was - should have been - a "free pass". No one realistically expected us to win at a ground where we've never on in the PL, but we hoped for a performance and then focus on getting revenge for the disgraceful way we were hijacked by the ref against Sunderland last season. Now, they need to pick themselves up, and hope that they encounter a Sunderland side who may be (over)confident..... Personally, I think today should have been Bob's Little Big Horn - but I suspect he will live to fight another day.....
Monty up front was a huge mistake and odd in my opinion..Why was not Llorente not leading the attack after last weeks effort.....Mind you i dont think it would have altered the score line with our defenders....
I think we should start to prepare for the championship. Our defence is shocking and the players are putting in half hearted performances. I don't like to think were down because there are plenty of games left, but it very difficult to see out of this. I think a win against Sunderland is a must, but if we do win we need to be consistent afterwards, which ain't going to happen.
If you can look at the positive side of things, the next 6 games are our realistic targets. 3 wins and 2 draws should see us in a decent position. Thing is, are the players ready for the fight?........... Im not convinced.
I think we need 4 wins and a draw from the next 6 games tbh. The way we are playing atm, I'll take 1 point from the next 6 games
Well I had a great seat at WHL but it just meant I was able to see our defensive frailty all too clearly. I was bang in line with the alleged foul that led to the Spurs penalty and straight away I said dive, Moss must have been talking to his assistant as he took an age to give it and the assistant was on the other side of the pitch from the incident. Still it would only have delayed the inevitable. They completely bossed us and just simple passes found so many Spurs players in space time after time. Not sure why he picked Monty who posed no threat at all and even if he had got in behind there was no one in the box to receive a cross! At least with Llorente coming on he gave Vertongen something to do. We have to sort things out at the back quickly. Defoe will be picking his lips for next week - a game at the start of a critical period. At least West Ham shipped 5 as well and they were at home.
Welcome to 606 (I'm guessing you're new because I haven't seen you post) That's the problem we need to get a run of games together starting next week. I'm not sure if this team can do it though. We need to go on a run something like; Sunderland-W WBA-D Middlesbrough-W West Ham-W Bournemouth-L Crystal Palace-D
Agree. The heart has been ripped out of the club. Lose next week, and I think it could get hostile down the Liberty.
come on Valley that's never going to happen. Even 3 wins is a bit much for this team but I think it'll be enough to keep us out of the relegation place.
