If there's anyway to shoot yourself in the foot, Spurs always seem to find it!....

The home fans are moaning about the ref and he's been giving them a very easy ride. It's like being at Stoke.

Shouldn't of been so negative, mentally when you losing and you see the other team take off an attacker and go more defensive it gives u a boost.

Buckley with a big chance to win it and he blazes over.
Ref finally booking their players. Bit late.

Rose dives on the edge of the box after Lamela picks him out. That's two today, though he should've had a penalty.
No Eriksen and it'd be a very good area for him, if a little close.
Lamela curls it over, going for the corner that the keeper's covering. Curious.

Another free-kick in a dangerous area, this time for a poor foul on Lamela, who's been pulled, pushed and kicked all day.
Ball into the box, hopefully.
It is, but it's **** and Sunderland have a chance to break. Giacharrini does a Gerrard though and falls over.

Another free-kick for yet another **** foul on Lamela! <grr> Really cynical by Brown. Can't think where he picked that up.

FT 2-2. Opportunity not taken. Simple as that.

To me it seems very predictable this season.

We'll beat the lesser teams at home, mostly draw against lesser teams away from home and lose convincingly against the top sides.

7th it is.

Last chance of the game and it comes to nothing, as Lamela's ball into the box is flicked on to nobody.
Annoying.

Good performance overall, but we should've been miles out of sight and both goals conceded were really poor.
Negative subs gave them some momentum, as Poyet had to push for at least an equaliser and we through in a player with no experience of the team or the league.
Still had chances to nick it and we hit the woodwork twice and should've had two penalties, but can't help feeling rather flat after that.

Promising start to the Argentinian's reign, I guess. Need to work on ironing out the silly mistakes and get a little more settled.
Very pissed at the officials today in both games that I've watched. Not that unusual for me, admittedly, but they made so many easy mistakes.
Much like our defenders! <laugh>

It's harder when you are playing the ref as well.

Disgraceful performance from him.

We deserved to win.

Be careful what you wish for. We looked good and dominated play, but got tired and let Sunderland nick the draw. Ade should have had two pens, and might have won a third. Rose dived, no doubt, but I wonder if he’d dived had the ref awarded the pen or pens correctly.

Very poor response to both our goals, and poor finishing as well. We should have dominated this game and only got a point. Once again, we got a goal and rolled out the red carpet for Sunderland to get back in the game. Tbf, when you demand the kind of high energy that Pochettino does demand, it is natural to take the foot off the gas after you get a goal.

Well, I’ll still remember I asked for attractive football and I got it. But in the end winning football is typically counterattacking football, and that’s not what Pochettino plays.

If we keep going like that the goals and the wins will come.

I’m pleasantly surprised to see your glass half full, Thor. The full half of mine impresses me just a shade more than the empty. I’m happier to see us playing good football than sad to see us lose two points where we didn’t last year.

Sixth or seventh. I think Man U has to get it together sooner or later, but Everton may be due an off season with their thin squad playing in Europe. I also don’t think our results will be that predictable--except the getting hammered by top sides part. Then again, counting on us finishing ahead of Swansea looks like a questionable assumption at this point.

We aren't good enough to beat the top teams and against the smaller teams our fast attacking play will bring us some entertaining moments but in the end the flawed tactics of Pochettino mean he will get found out.

Although credit to Pochettino for at least injecting some energy into the side as while he will end up with the same fate as Avb, he is at least going to have the players playing with energy, even if it works best against the smaller teams.

I think we'll be ok and do quite well in our next few matches. I've seen these little tripods before and we normally come out with a defeat. What I mean is Spurs beat QPR and then QPR beat Sunderland then Sunderland and Spurs meet and you'd expect Spurs to beat Sunderland. Well we almost did,at least we weren't beaten as oft times before in these circumstances. We'll be ok.

Well, I did say I liked Kane.....

Seriously though, you bossed that until we brought on Gomez, we gave you way too much time on the ball and how we've come away with a point is anyone's guess.

Bit annoyed at Rose, obviously need to see TV replays but he seemed to be hoying himself on the deck constantly, referee I thought was poor all round, niggly decisions, giving wrong ones constantly, just didn't impose himself, I'd probably say you got it a bit worse than us.

You'll win a lot more than you won't based on that, we are a resilient and half decent side now, all the best until the Lane <ok>

Very disappointed in our defensive record - again! If we can't get our act together defensively, we'll be mid table at the end.
