Anyone who thought we would finish 4th or above at the start of the season,after losing our 2 most important players from the season before is living in cloud cuckoo land.It did however allow Bale to become the player he is.The job now is to keep him and add a couple of top players,which AVB thinks the club can now attract,and next season,we should be able to kick on.
You're right, it was bonkers to think we were top 4 material with our best 2 (besides Bale ) sold and not replaced. It up to the board to show us they are worth their 2 million per year wage and step up.
