Why is O'Neill's training kit the same colour as our shirts? It's distracting me.

MON's got more chance of scoring for us than Ade!

Sessegnon's just pushing into people and then falling over.

Stupid goal to concede. Totally dominant in midfield, sloppy at the back and we're behind in a game that we should be well on top of.

Walker is fast becoming a weak link.

As do I - everyone slips but he didn't need to go and push Ses. in the back when it's clear he's been diving all game.

Dawson needs to stop playing those long passes.

If only we had someone like Larsson capable of that kind of delivery on a consistant basis, a nightmare for any defence...especially ours!

bale and Adebayor have been poor today...lennon, sandra, Dembele and naughton have played well...defoe has been anonymous

  16. We have reverted back to the Spurs of former days, when we dominate weaker teams, but then commit stupid schoolboy errors to allow them to beat us.

I hope Walker gets a bollocking at half time, not that it's going to make any difference now.

And Adebayor is looking like Defoe of a couple of seasons back - all the effort, but useless when it comes to the killer shot.

So far I've noticed the same "pushing" into the back of adebayor by oshea, that we have also been doing to sessegnon. The only difference is that because Ade is a bigger player and doesn't go down so easy, he's getting nothing from the ref. sessegnon is going down at any opportunity and getting everything. - it just proves that sometimes u just have to go down! - but then you faced being labelled as a diver, so it's a no win situation really!

Only loads of small decisions, but the ref hasn't given us anything today. Dembele and sandro are getting molested, but the minute they throw their weight around... Free kick to Sunderland.

I swear at one point dembele had control of the ball and someone managed to concede a foul.

We've just gotta be patient and play our game if we're gonna get a result today.

Dembele pulled back to prevent him breaking, then the ball's kicked away to stop us taking it quickly, yet Atkinson keeps his cards in his pocket. Ta. <doh>

Another frustrating first half when we've been the better side and not made it count. Struggling on their rare set-pieces and we're not dealing with Sessegnon's tendency to 'go down easily'.
Not nice to see Defoe getting in on the diving act, either.

We seem to struggle with these early starts up North. Not sure why we keep getting them.

Adebayor has been dire all season - fair enough he's been injured for a bit of it but I expect more from someone of his calibre.

I commented a few weeks back saying that we need a third top striker at the club - I still believe that - and on today's evidence where our current 2 have been poor, someone else coming in would be good.
