Cameron and N'Zonzi in the book now, too. Sigurdsson on for Lennon. Bale staying down the right then, I guess.
not quite sure how n'zonzi lasted as long with out getting booked. we've got to think of something different. we're getting shots away, but there's not really any pace on them as we're not getting time to get the ball out of our feet.
Well that was boring as hell. Stoke fought hard and were well organised, pretty good value for the draw, but I wouldn't want to watch that every week. This is the sort of game that we need a Modric-type in to unlock a very stubborn defence. Didn't create enough and our forwards looked to be out of sync. Pulis will be very happy with that and Villas-Boas won't. Need to pick up wins in the next few games, basically. Painful late goal for Reading to concede. They think that Barry's committed a foul, too.
I am sick and tired of Stoke being in the premier league. Every week they play utter ****e, boring, negative, defensive football and ruin the game we all love. How on earth do humans pay to watch that each week?!! I know the league needs diversity to keep each game interesting, but that is just horrific.
No creation = another slice of boring football. Well since we are unlikely to spend money on a Modric type player then we will just have to put up with this bollocks football for a few years.
The plates and cutlery. He did ok when he came on. His set-piece delivery was certainly better than Bale's, for a start. Definitely wasn't a major part of the problem today, whereas a lack of incisive passing and poor movement and communication between our forwards plus no back up for them, certainly was.
