I'm confident that I was responsible for our boys surrounding the ref around the 75 minute mark, after I had just screamed, "want it Tottenham. 20 minutes."

Not much consolation tbh, and I'd far rather be the lad who got to throw the ball to Kyle Walker.

My other gems/useless screams btw included, "Harry....find a goal." And, "Are you ****ing joking ?" at the linesman.

Real disappointing end at the Lane. We actually looked tired yesterday, even Rose and Walker who I consider the fittest, didn't have the energy to get back when Soton were countering us on occasions. Kane was awful, I haven't seen highlights yet but from where I sit, it looked as though Hugo should've done much better for both of their goals, the subs made no impact whatsoever and Mason was also very poor, I've been really disappointed in him since returning from injury, I thought that with a little bit of initial rust aside he'd be able to really help impact games when coming on or starting and that just hasn't been the case, he's not done himself any favours in trying to compete with Dier and Dembele for those CM spots. Dembele's absence was really missed, it's going to be a tough start to the season being without him for the first four games.

Son's goal was sublime and the only real shining light from a dismal team performance, the composure to go round those players and then slot it in was something that you'd usually associate with Messi when he goes on one of his memorising runs, that was probably my second favourite goal of the season after Dele's at Palace.

With all respect to Southampton, I think if we'd had played a top class side today we'd have got beaten by a much heavier scoreline because we were definitely there for taking and it hurts to say that, it just didn't look like Spurs out there when comparing it to most of the season.

Was really emotional and incredible at half time, little spurs fan Marshall came onto the pitch, he's only 8 years old, has no hands and two prosthetic legs yet the beaming smile on his face at being out on the pitch at WHL was fantastic. Paul Coyte said to his Dad how proud he must've been and his Dad could just about give his answer before choking up, Coyte then made a joke and said "if only we could get some people to play football with you on the pitch while you're here" (prior to this, Mousa had come out for an interview) and then he turned around and mentioned "funnily enough we have Dembele here", Mousa took the mic and offered him the chance to come onto the pitch and kick the ball around with him and all the subs, the ovation he got from the crowd - including Soton fans - was brilliant and then renditions broke out of "sign him up, sign him up" and "oh Marshall we love you", it was a truly great moment and what a hero Marshall is. If anyone wants to see Marshall's story and donate, the website is: http://www.handstand.org.uk/

Back to Spurs, we've got to beat Newcastle now, I don't even want a draw, despite this being an incredible season if we let 2nd slip - especially to that lot - on the final day of the campaign it really will leave a sickening taste in my mouth and we won't hear the last of it.

    One final push lads, COYS!

Just to add to the wonderful story of Marshall, it was great to see all the Southampton substitutes who were on the pitc warming up, join in the applause for the young lad. Well done guys.
