Veliz is seen in the video with the squad arriving.

Wonder if he’ll be the 19th man or actually in the squad.

I have clearly underestimated Sheffield United. Having seen this 15 minutes I would not have predicted 3 - 0 Spurs. More like 2 - 1 Spurs

The time wasting by the keeper is outrageous

Bit of a meh first half.

We were in control for most of it but never really properly tested Foderingham. McBurnie could/ should have put them in front at the death too, poor header in the end.

Probably should’ve had a penalty on Maddison though, initially thought no on first glance but the side angle shows a definite clip of Maddison’s ankle.

Sheff Utd are riding their luck, but the important
thing id to remain patient (the on target attempt %
is sound - not panicky) .

    At the match, doing ok.
Should have been at least 8 mins of added time.

If you discount the 5 minutes timewasting plus the 3 minute drinks break it's probably close....<laugh>

Good half of football from us again - just ****ed over by a **** ref and VAR.
If Keeper had been correctly booked for repeated timewasting then the handball would have meant a red and as for VAR not referring the Maddison foul back for ref review was a disgrace.

Will be interesting to see how we come out 2nd half.

I'm at the other end low down so didn't get a view of the maddison tackle. But three of their players kicked the ball away but only one was booked...and 3 mins was a joke.

No idea how they thought that was in any way appropriate

VAR is used to support the referee rather than the rules of the game. The media should do their job and expose this.

One way to sto[ 2nd half time-wasting is for the
officials to stadium broadcast in real-time the
updated time to be added on. If the GK etc sees
the time clocking up well before the end, there is
less incentive to try it on.
