We have been allocated the East end of Wembley Stadium for the final. Ticket prices are £40, £56, £72, £90 and £100.
Making a major cock up in the last match we played them at Wembley doesn't appear to be any problem. Great call from Riley once again
The ref that gave the ghost goal to Chelsea in our last Wembley appearance? That's... I was going to say unbelievable, but it's pretty bloody typical. Ridiculous choice.
Just looked at the fixture schedule in the run up to the game, Chelsea play the Saturday before and we play a London Derby on Sunday and then travel to Italy to play on Thursday. Even without the cup final the schedule ****s on us.
Is there definitely goal line technology in the League Cup? Pretty sure there isn't in the earlier rounds so I wouldn't be surprised if they don't use it for the final.
Fixed. Our away game against Fiorentina is on a Thursday because of the Champions League, isn't it? You know, the competition that's not happening that week...
So we play Sunday, Thursday, Sunday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday. 5 games in 13 days and then 8 days until the next one. Does the club ever speak up about this kind of thing? Obviously there's nothing that can be done about the Europa League match but it strikes me as the worst possible way those fixture could have been set up for us.
Would love to take my 12 and 17 yr old girls to the final but can not see us getting tickets. Guess it'll be a home made shrine, pizza's and the TV for us...I remember us doing that for for the 08 final v chelsea...my eldest was only 10 then and sfter the match she wanted to go to the shops in her spurs shirt...it was frezzing and raining but she refused to do her coat up cos she wanted everyone to see her spurs top...great memory!
I hope to erase the memory of the 08 final. I was stuck at Luton train station getting text updates from my dad
I remember the 09 final against united. Was a fantastic performance to draw 0-0 with them, with Foster having a brilliant game in goal for them. Less said about the penalty shootout the better.
So between Chelsea and Spurs, thats about 62,000 tickets.Who's taking the rest for crying out loud? If Spurs are not in the final,I don't want to see any other game! Are the remaining tickets going to Arsenal to cheer on Chelsea........you know Arsenal fans will be the only foreign fans cheering on Chelsea!
If it was the FA cup final, then it would only be about 23000 per each club. It's a poor state of affairs when genuine fans could miss out on getting the opportunity to see their side at Wembley, when corporates take priority.
