I can't see Adebayor lasting the whole game. Either by dismissal, or precautionary substitution

 

The fact they are talking like it could have been a sending off shows how ridiculous football is these days. If that happened in Sunday league it wouldn't even be a foul.

Terrible first half hour. As bad as I have seen for a long time.

 

Bad miss by Adebayor. Took too long and he's looked well out of it so far.

We are lucky not to be losing at the moment. I don't want to be negative but there aren't that many positives to take from this half. Only maybe we can't be as bad next half can we?!

I'd take Adebayor off at half-time. He's been poor and is on a booking and the balance of our side is wrong.
Bring on Lennon, stick Townsend down the left and put Eriksen in behind Kane.

 

Ade or Kane needs to be taken off at half time so whoever is left on can play centrally with Lennon coming on to provide width. Whether its Lennon or Townsend on the left eventually we need someone out there to help Davies and provide an extra option there going forwards. Kane is ineffective and a bit wasted providing cover and helping out Davies. Our left side is all their joy right now. I think Ade off is going to be the most popular choice oddly enough...

 

I was wondering what Spurs would turn up. Now I know. The boring, uninterested, sideways passing, rely on Ericksen to score a goal from nowhere team. I have a ticket to the Leicester game. Just wondering if its worth the trip. Rant over. I think we need to take one of the holding midfielders off and replace them with someone with pace, perhaps Lennon. I still think we will win over two legs.
