That freekick they scored from looks more and more ridiculous everytime you see it. The only excuse I can see is that Webb was trying to play advantage for what can at worst be described as a "bump" from Dembele before the tackle comes in.
If AVB had a rant about the decsion they'd have covered it, unfortunately the way they have to fit their analysis into about 90 seconds they're not going to look or even acknowledge it. They'd clearly only judged the game on highlights though as they were talking about us deserving to win "on balance" as if it was close in terms of the play.
Comments like 'Spurs just about deserved the win'........ 65% possession at least - 30 attempts, 20 on target - and the goal conceded was not a foul in the first place. They may only have 90 seconds, but from that analysis and the highlights shown, one would think the game was even-Steven!! Crap TV journalism! And having to look at that morose saggy faced clown Lawrensen doesn't help. Ah - good to see the New Year spirit hasn't worn off yet....... On another note - AVB quoted this morning that Ade might still go the ACN. Bad news if this is the case. Hopefully he wil stick to his original plan, because we can ill afford to lose him, especially if he has re-found his scoring touch.
