The first hour started to feel like we were sacking off the CL to focus on the league

The last twenty minutes felt like we thought "**** that, we're not giving these pricks the satisfaction"

I'm not going to blame Mourinho for the lack of Sonny and Kane but even when they were playing, we were **** for the first half an hour of just about every game.

WTF is he saying to them before they come out? It's not even like we tried to play tight and not concede. We were a complete rabble.

Lo Celso was very good, as was Sanchez. Hugo was good........come on, help me out here...

Last 20 maybe, but only lo Celso up until then. 6 or 7 out there were dreadful and it took Lamela to change the mood.

    Yup

It just fizzled away from what I was seeing...wingers playing like wingers but no one to play it to for the final shot. So we were limited by default...relying on some Winger magic but none was forthcoming tonight unfortunately.

This tie is far from over, Davison and Toby , Hugo ,Harry GLC all put in a shift, first 25mins were a trial but you have to hand it to Leipzig for starting stronger

Certainly don't want to hear the 'missing our two main strikers' excuse for tonight.
There were so many more influential issues that led to that performance. God knows how Aurier gets near a first team place is beyond me. Gedson had a few touches but looked well off the pace and that's even more worrying for the PL run-in. Similarly Berwijn.
and the Sanchez / Alderweirald combo worries the living **** out of me.

Mourinho is falling into the 'poor us' mantra on BT Sport just now and you can here his influence in the comments by Hugo. That won't help....

    More by luck than judgement..
What worries is the complete lack of.... Frankly anything for 60 minutes or so. No defensive cohesion and no press from midfield.

    But you're right. It's not 100% over.

Decent game for a neutral to watch, RBL are a very good technical side and play at a fast pace.
Did me and the ref miss any red cards or penalty's tonight? we are not all up to speed on Spurs rules yet

Only turned up when they scored their penalty.

Glad Jose realised Dele was ****ing ****, I'm getting pretty sick of him and as I've said a few times now, if anyone were to offer £50m in the summer we should run to the bank with it.

Hugo, Dave and Lo Celso were brilliant, Tanguy and Lamela really helped to up our game too.

Overall I half expected to lose, with about 50 goals worth of talent missing it's going to catch up with you. To make it all worse, I ****ed my back up yesterday so standing through that for 90 minutes really wasn't pleasant.

if you are downplaying us missing Kane and Son and what they offer therefore what their absence takes away from us...with Jose having no possibility to replace it..then I can see why you was left on the shelf bruv

Aurier's an excessively cocky ****er given his performance level. Mourinho loves that ****. Without the performances to justify it, it drives me ****ing mad.

Mourinho won't select Parrott, Skippy and Foyth, even though they're our only fit centre forward, deep-lying midfielder and probably our best right back.

I don't understand why not? He wouldn't even pick them against 'Boro in the cup.

I'm told that Jose knows best....we shall see.

He’s so slow both mentally and physically. At his best...his mind was sharp. How the **** do you lose that at his age with the luxuries life offers him? Where’s the mental sharpness? Where is his mind? I’m tending to agree with you mate...he’s the one who will fetch us decent money...he just isn’t offering what is needed for our ambitions...he’s our Jesse Lingaard unfortunately

Slow starts were happening under Poch too...I remember the frequency of them quite clearly.

That's exactly what he is, he's become our very own Lingard. Too focused on his fashion brand and social media. Practically three seasons of inconsistency now, just not good enough. I'd even take £40m to be honest.

He doesn't fit the system either, Ndombele and Lo Celso were so much better than him with Winks passing them the ball, 433 is our future and Dele doesn't fit into it.

a few more posts and you’ll be offering him on a free <laugh>

On Winks...I thought he covered a lot of grass tonight and I admire his tenacity...snappy little ****er...with the other 2 next to him and their forward thinking...his sideways passes play an important role for us

No dispute there...but we sacked him for it. I was expecting Mourinho to improve us.

From 60 minutes on, we're definitely improved. No issue there

From 30-60 minutes, I'm not sure. Maybe?

From kick off to 30 minutes, we're a rabble...just about every game...no matter who plays. No improvement whatsoever.

    I don't get it.
