Austin didn't train at the open session this week, looks like a knock.

Hill isn't going to see much football this season unless injuries kick in. I hope he is physically on the bench, even if not a sub.

Predict Faurlin will be on at some stage, I thought Fer said he wasn't fit enough, was only a sub in his last game for Norwich.

Anyone know why there is no Austin, not even on the bench? Surprised he is not there ahead of Zamora...could he be on his way or have I missed something?

I would guess he's picked up a knock or something, otherwise he'd at least make the bench.

This team is set up to do one thing: counter.

Expect to see us sitting deep with Phillips and Remy breaking with pace. Absolutely the right tactic if you ask me. Fer's energy may help with this.

Come on you r'ssss!!

Hope you are right Raving...not a glamorous win, but who cares about winning pretty!

I could not be more pissed off about Onouha's exclusion. Just completely bombed out of the squad- one of our longest serving best talents. So we can opt for the long term strategy of playing a 35yr old and a 36 yr old

I say the same about Adel. Ned is on the Bench, so not out of the squad, yet. But I agree with your point about Rio and Dunne being chosen ahead of him, I'd have preferred Ned in there.

Good stream - wiziwig, scroll down to DAZ Sports HD. Commentary seems to be in Dutch.

Isla already getting forward well.

Lot of shots of Hoddle sitting in the stand, with Beard and Sir Les deep in converstion in front of him.
