It was horribly naive defending. Both the dwelling on the ball but also the decision to bring Juninho down. 7 mins into a game you're generally better off going a goal down than a man down. And judging by some of their finishing since then, we might not have even gone a goal down. Poor defending.
He’s the sort of player that you rate less the more you see of him. Not sure why the club signed him tbh. Doesn’t fit the system at all.
We’ve hardly ever seen him play. He spends most of his time on the bench. Even someone suited to the system or a “better fit” would struggle with such limited opportunities. Coming into the team so rarely isn’t easy for any player. it was terrible defending, but I have no doubt we’d see Porro or Romero do something just as stupid.
He’s not quick, doesn’t suit playing in a high line and then that tonight. Throw in his gobby agent and is he worth the aggro for the money spent? For me it’s another signing that doesn’t make sense. Ange’s system needs players with mobility and pace who are good on the ball. Radu doesn’t fit any of that.

Completely agree. The defensive tactics are abysmal and nothing was done to tweak or improve them over the summer. We won’t progress as a team playing such a kamikaze high line.
Good point but they were there before the manager arrived. Radu was signed after and I don’t know why That said, I don’t think any defender would look good because of the way they play. It’s defensively awful imo.
