This has been an interesting case study in observing Sessegnon's ability against Championship opposition. Evidence thus far suggests he should consider League One as his next move.
Is Sessegnon worse than Gilberto? I think there’s a genuine debate to be had here about that. Might be thread worthy…
Sessegnon's last 4 crosses... Hit first man, hit first man, out for goal kick, hit first man ... I read that Spence isn't getting game time cos he is inconsistent in training ... considering Sessegnon gets so much game time Spence must be fecking awful
Jenas pointing out the bleeding obvious re: our wingbacks...if HE can see it, then for ****s sake surely Conte should!
Conte can see it. The problem is the others aren’t much better at all. None of the WB options either side are good enough.
Spence hasn't been given the opportunity. And the only other relatively decent option is out on loan.
I dont follow the under 21s but we must have someone with 2 legs and half a brain that could replace Sessegnon
For starters, I hope you’re all good pal as you've not been on since September and so assuming that you are, @crackerman jack you owe me a huge apology after telling me Sessegnon will come good this season
I was at the Gilberto uefa cup game...was the worst performance I have ever seen, closely followed by Bentley v Arsenal in the League Cup. But pound for pound I would say that Sessegnon is the worst player I've seen play for us. He has only had 1 good game for us imho (Southampton this season). Even Ndombele and Lo Celso have managed more
Harvey White has played LB/ LWB, pretty sure he even played there in pre-season for one game. If not Sayers is a LB/ LCB who could probably be given a go. But then with the manager we have they’ve got no chance.
