That was a mad one, looked like something out of Mortal Kombat. We’ve looked like putting together some half decent pieces of individual play this half, mainly through Sess or Gio but clearly it’s a very disjointed team. They’re able to control the game at 1-0 and we don’t have the deep midfielders to always play through them. Keeping this to 1-0 with this lineup and taking it home for the second leg wouldn’t be awful, even if it’s not the game we all wanted to see.
There's a reason you can get away with skipping the second team and fielding the third team in Football Manager You can save scum in that
Losing I can deal with. Youngsters struggling I can deal with. But **** attitudes from experienced and/or big money signings when up against it I can't handle. So the likes of Romero, lo Celso, Doherty and even Gil have proper pissed me off tonight. (Winks just pisses me off regardless)
Utterly embarrassing and it’s all on Nuno. Woeful selection and a disjointed performance to match. That’s done nothing for the confidence of the young players whilst it’s a **** environment for the new signings to come into.
