Romero, Lo Celso and Scarlett injured Bergwijn misses through illness All in all another productive international break...
Reckon we’ll see something like: Gollini Sanchez, Rodon, Tanganga Doherty, Winks, Ndombele, Sess Dele, Kane, Gil I’d rather Markanday or even Clarke than Dele but he somehow manages to always gain last chances.
Interesting to see how he lines up for this. I reckon we'll go strong against Rennes and make a number of changes in this game. Scarlett and Bergwijn out is a right pain as they'd have been candidates to play instead of Kane who put in one hell of a shift against Leeds. I'm hoping we see something like: Hugo Doherty (grits teeth), Sanchez, Rodon, Tanganga, Sess Skipp Ndombele Dele Son Gil I'd play Son as the striker as I feel he needs a goal or two to spark his season back into life. I'd like to think that line up will be enough against Moura but frankly at least 3 of those names inspire zero confidence.
Confirmed to have travelled Sergio Reguilon Matt Doherty Harry Winks Bryan Gil Harry Kane Hugo Lloris Eric Dier Emerson Royal Ryan Sessegnon Davinson Sanchez Tanguy Ndombele
I imagine the likes of Doherty, Winks, NDombele and Gil are nailed on to start. Would like to see Sess too after his cameo against Leeds.
Yeah I mean I’d be very into him starting. I wonder if he will as a 9, or if Kane will get the opening 45
With Scarlett out with an ankle knock picked up with the England U19s, if we are going to have another forward on the bench it'll have to be Markanday or Mundle
Sess is 100% starting, mate. Conte confirmed it in the press conference. Sess also done a press conference too so it’d be weird if he done that and then didn’t start. Looking forward to it too, think this could be the manager and formation to help him shine.
Would love to see Markanday start. Reward for a brilliant season so far for our U21's. Hopefully Gil starts too alongside Kane / Son who I would give both 45 mins. Obviously Doherty and Sess as wingbacks and Skippy partnering Dele or Ndombele. At the back Sanchez, Dier and Rodon and Gollini between the sticks.
Yes I think that he will play a strong side with the thought that another 90 mins of playing his system will be beneficial. I am not expecting more than 4 changes. Sessengon for Regullion, Sanchez for Tanganga, Skipp for Hojbjerg, and Gil for Lucas.
His hand's forced in some areas, for example with Scarlett out with a knock he basically has to play Kane at some point Probably should've taken one of Markanday of Clarke to cover Bergwijn missing through illness, IMO
