I don't think we're anywhere near bottom yet, I'm afraid.

There's a fourth-tier UEFA competition where the refs don't even turn up we can drop into

The only positive is that it firmly highlights once again how badly we need new players.
As many of us said when we hired conte, Levy’s gotta back him. Because Conte won’t stick around if he’s working with this lot for any longer than he needs to be.

Conte can now see the extent of this job and it's huge.

Are we going to lose to the ABBA holograms in the UEFA Europa Over 60's Conference League?

Are we sure Southampton won't accept a Doherty/KWP swap deal in January?

God that was a low, although it's actually hard on the subs that came on as they had at least got us back into the game with 10 men.
The commentator said in the first 5 minutes that Sanchez has a mistake in him every game. Today it was 2 absolute perlers! <doh>

    The biggest issue today

...yes, I know that's a multiple choice question...

...is how so many players seemed to take a second touch every single time they received the ball. It's one thing when you have one or two players do it, for example Doherty is really bad for taking extra touches either when receiving the ball or when he looks up before crossing, but when the entire team seems to be doing it then the sting gets removed from our buildup play as the opponents can casually walk back into position

Tbh that was as bad as anything I have seen in the past 2 or 3 years.

To lose to a team who had lost all their previous 4 group games is shameful.

We have lost 3 games in this competition so far...we do not deserve to go through and probably won't unless we play a full strength team ... in the middle of a massive run of games leading up to Xmas.

Doherty, Sanchez, Dele, Ndombele and Sessegnon should not be starting games for us. To have been THAT poor against a very poor team is unforgivable.

All should be told to look for a new team imho.

Gollini is not a first choice keeper and tbh is no improvement on Hart (who I was not a great fan of).

Our squad depth is beyond woeful but at least that is not up for question.

It ain't gonna happen but we could sell, return or release :
Lo Celso, Ndombele, Sanchez, Gollini, Clarke, Dele, Doherty, Sessegnon and I wouldn't give a toss.
Would rather play youngsters than continue allowing these unprofessionals to wear our shirts.

I really hope Levy has been persuaded to take a loss on these players cos other than Dele and Gollini we are not getting anywhere near what we paid for them.

In total these 8 players cost us approx £200m.

That's why our squad is do poor.

Awful awful decision making from all involved.

I'm going to take a second to slag Conte off, as I feel he earned it today.

Why were we playing five at the back against Mura in a must-win game with several players out of position?
Alli on the left? Gil on the right? Ndombele as some sort of holding midfielder? Sanchez as left cb?
Sessegnon was just back from injury and nowhere near up to speed.

Most of the subs were fairly straightforward, but why was Rodon replaced?
Didn't do anything wrong and Sanchez had clearly played worse than him, plus he's had less minutes.
The players were ****, but the manager was too. Rubbish all round.

The only positive is that we really shouldn’t be seeing many of these again. We’re gonna need to go full strength against Rennes and then we’ll have West Ham in the League Cup where we can’t afford to rotate much either, if at all.

Slog it til January and ensure Levy’s opening that chequebook the day that window opens.

Gollini, stick or twist, struggling to think of a decent save that he's made , is it because the defence is like a clowns car or is it his poor positioning and decision making
It's a big no from me
