I am assuming we will rotate a fair bit, though VdV might start and play a half to get some minutes as they try and crank him back up to full speed. Kulu should start as he looked desperately rusty on Thursday and getting him sharp for the EL semi would be a huge plus. IMHO the Poool game is where the strongest starting XI should be fielded. Not because a win is needed, but because it will put the squad in the correct mindset for the following EL tie.
We are in relatively uncharted territory. It has been a generation since we played a season in which the last chunk of league games were completely meaningless.
Well, that is a surprisingly strong starting 11. Hopefully they perform to their potential and we get a win to continue to build the (relatively) positive vibes. So I guess we can expect a half-assed, 2nd rate performance and the 'boo' level would make Everton proud!
For the first time in ages I’ve watched about 15-20 mins of SKY’s pre-match buildup, holy **** is it always this tedious and boring? xG nerdy bollocks where the bloke doesn’t even know what he’s actually harping on about, bloody hell. Will Still also giving his insight, wonder if he will still be Lens manager after the season…
Too soon. I had Forest at going 1-0 at 70 mins, then Nuno-ball to see out 20 mins of Portu-Ange-Ball.
