Why? We've got no creative midfielder, Paulinho's already playing too deep and the wingers are on the wrong sides.
I doubt he'll get that much service or support.

I like how we play dangerous passes in our own area but not in theirs. If I were managing an opponent of ours, I'd say just hang around the penalty box and wait for our defenders to f** up with the cute passes.

This game you can really see exactly why we're in a rut. The one thing we do relatively well, which is pass through midfield, may hurt us as much as anything, since it results in us crowding around the other team's packed defenders--followed by them hitting us on the counter.

Very good tackle and run by Bentaleb, but a poor attempt to find a man.
Dangerous ball by Townsend, but nobody anticipating it.

Far, far too slow. Fazio making a few minor mistakes.
    Passing needs to be snappier.

That looked like a really obvious foul in the area on Paulinho.
Clear shirt pull and much more of a pen than the one that Liverpool got in the same box.

So we've had hard shirt tugs on Ade where Ade didn't dive, and didn't get a pen. Now we have a shirt pull followed by a dive from Paulinho, who, this time deservedly gets nothing.

They get forward for about the third time, and look much more dangerous than we have in 20 times we've gone forward.

Osbourne hits the underside of the bar, as our defence watches him stroll around a couple of them.
Vorm makes his first save as the ball's put back in.
More crappy defending, as we gift them possession in our own half.

Forest's confidence has been lifted by the chances and they're now on the front foot.
Some of our players look utterly drained of confidence.
Fazio makes a last gasp tackle to stop an easy goal.

We're creating very little and look very fragile.
Townsend puts in another decent ball and nobody's there.

It just kills me how often we wander forward and dawdle. Makes even Townsend's 35 yard no-hopers shine by comparison.

A nice one two, but Soldado isn't ready for the next pass.

A bit better in the last minute or two. Medium range pass, then try to do something.

Much better, especially from Townsend. We had 2 or three good to very good chances that our attackers f**ed up. More than we've had all game. They're actually running at the goal.

Cue the Row Z Townsend shot.

Has Soldado actually touched the ball yet?

Sloppy, casual defending and this time it's not us! <laugh>
Pissing about at the back and an obvious shirt pull, but we waste another set-piece.

Townsend's constantly trying to come in on his left and Lennon's doing nothing, except when he drifts onto the right.
How long will we persist with this? So many managers try it and it doesn't work.

That's two speculative efforts from miles out by Townsend. At least he's giving it a go, I guess.

No saves yet from timewasting keeper De Vries. Really not good enough, is it?

To give Townsend some credit at least he looks a goal threat.
I find it really hard to get excited watching us these days. Even when we were really **** we always had a player or 2 that could get you off your seat.

I agree, we don't have anyone that can score out of nothing. Too workmanlike and too predictable.

Fazio goes a bit Townsend. Not too shabby, actually.
