We might be playing a team who's spent £100M in the transfer window, but that really doesn't excuse a piss poor first half performance by us. We have been absolutely dreadful, what's the point of spending £M's on strikers if they don't get any ****ing service ? Regardless of today's opposition, if things don't improve PDQ Hughton's days will be numbered, mark my words !
I think sometimes you have to hold your hands up and say they are outplaying us. They won't keep this up for the second half - we have defended well, their only other major chance (soldado back heel) was easily covered on the line anyway. As long as it stays 1-0 we have a chance of nicking a draw. It was a very well worked goal and nobody was really to blame, though I think Turner hasn't been great. Dembele is completely bossing this (again - he always does it to us!) but, like Fellaini, I think he'll fade second half. I'd be tempted to take Garrido off and put Olsson on because it would just pin back their right hand side a bit and give us some breathing room. I wouldn't take off Elmander - I think bringing on Hooper for RvW would be much more sensible.
With all due respect, I think this is a massive overreaction. We are playing much better than we did against Hull and Tottenham are a very good team. We have actually had a couple of moments where knocking it around has looked great, unfortunately both episodes were killed by poor passes from Redmond and Turner.

They deserve it, not sure how CH thought we could compete in the middle against 3 £10m+ midfielders with just johnson and fer. Now we gotta chase it and they'll probably score more.
If we're going to approach every away game like this I don't know why we bother turning up. Spurs are perhaps an exception but we have to look to actually get three points in some away games or we'll be in trouble. We can't rely purely on our home form. This looks to become embarrassing.
I would of been very happy and surprised with a draw to be honest, I just don't like seeing us playing so ineffectively still early in the half though.

Don't want to say it but the ref is murdering us a bit. That doesn't detract from the not being able to pass thing.
I don't think there's a problem with the approach, Spurs are simply a different class and we have little opportunity. I would have expected a better performance from us, but there is feck all you can do if the quality opposition don't want to give you the ball
