they do look like a quality side and I expect them only to get better: having said that we should be performing better than we are.

At this rate, I'll be praying for a 'rain stopped play'. <yikes>

Spurs turn out attacks quickly. Need to look after the ball going forward. Build it.

Needed that extra man in midfield instead of elmander, just to try and get a foot on it. Howson or wes was a must.

We need to silence Dembele, Erikson looks dangerous but Dembele is the man running the show for them all the movement and all their attacks are starting through him. We're struggling to use our flanks Rose is making Snodgrass look like an amateur and Redmond is being phased out, disagree with me if you want this game is screaming out for Hoolahan.

Look up though lads we're seeing the ball a bit...

Possibly, but what we need to do is keep the ball. Hoolahan has not had a great reputation for doing that atm.

If tettey can come in in the centre and keep it and pass it a bit better like he can I think it will help.

We need brains and people who want the ball, not static defensive midfielders.

We are simply giving them too much space, there is limited pressing, just trying to hold a shape

    like Redmond and Snodgrass?

Need to get Fer on the ball, not sure you can call a player with a 94% pass success rate in the last game a player with no brain.

Need to be less sloppy, keep it and we can build chances. RVWW chance proves that, Elmander had a good run into their half early on as well.

Subbing Elmander for Tettey at half time when losing will whip the "Hughton-out" brigade into an absolute frenzy. Got to agree with Welly sadly, we're being dominated and the midfield are offering nothing. Elmander or Ricky off for Pilks? Play 3 wingers and give them freedom to go wherever they want, centrally or wide, and that might create spaces/chances.

I'd bring on Tettey for Johnson and Hooper for Elmander. I don't think Fer has been sloppy as much as he hasn't had any of the ball.

It's Eriksen's main strength, stay invisible but still give crucial last pass like the assist on Sigurdsson. He likes playing in crowded areas as he usually needs a single touch to pass the ball.

Beefy we're struggling to use the wings the midfield have run out of ideas, we need some creativity towards the centre of the pitch to make it happen free things up a bit, Snodgrass and Redmond would see the ball more, force back Rose & Walker who are managing to box us in.

    Not lost yet.

They look good, but they give you chances. If we can take one of those chances, who knows?
