Yes there have been individual mistakes, but it's the generally weak mindset and application that is most disappointing. Ange has been outhought and the players outfought.
The games against the top 3 I like, because they won't play busparquet (even though in the NLD a draw is good for them lot) . Vermin FC I assume will do busparquet, because their defence is nowhere near that of the top 3.
As I said before when Angeball is good we look a very good team, but **** me when it’s bad it is bloody awful
You need the right players to play that way though. Spurs will never have the best individuals so you can’t play his way because the individual mistakes will be costly
He is not been out-thought (that is the problem) . My concern (yet again) is a manager may be showing dogma + hubris over pragma.
Actually feel sorry for Lo Celso. MF this dreadful (not for the first time), lacking any real fight or creativity and he gets just another 10 minutes!
This and the Fulham game are the two poorest performances this season. We never looked on the front foot in either and created next to nothing. At least v Brighton away we kept get into good positions and created chances. All in all a horrible result but thoroughly deserved...but I'm still hopeful that the season won't just die out.
Bissouma, Bentancur and Maddison just don't look healthy. We've got plenty of other options, so why keep starting them?
Werner is so ****ing brain dead it’s actually annoying, miles offside and still touches the ball despite Hojbjerg (I think) being behind him and seemingly onside. Sometimes dumb footballers are funny to laugh at, he’s just irritatingly thick. And ****.
